We stayed there the last few nights and it is a little off because the pool was green so we had to go over two properties to use another hotels pool which was lovely. The place is tired but clean and the service was friendly as well as receiving a shuttle service to town for 50,000rp.The biggest disappointment was the beach which was not swimable because the local river drains into it right there. It was too bad because it does have a nice setting abnd the right plan. .

I am a 40 year old professor and my wife is a 30 year old lawyer -- we are from Canada and spent 3 weeks in Indonesia on our honeymoon, including 3 nights at Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge. This was a very inexpensive place to stay and good value for the money. It was in a quiet beautiful place on the beach. The room was basic but comfortable. Unfortunately on our first 2 nights our bathroom was stinky, but when we reported it, they moved us to a new room. The rooms were downstairs, and upstairs the second floor was open to the breeze and contained the kitchen and dining and lounging areas. The food was simple but good, clean and very inexpensive. We met the most interesting hotel guests from around the world as well. The beach was not a sandy bathing beach but nice to walk along -- alongside cattle and other livestock!!! There are really no amenities at the EcoLodge -- just your room and the upstairs lounging area. But from here, we visited Komodo Island National Park, and had a great adventure. If you're in Flores to visit the dragons, this is good value. We had a relaxing time with friendly hotel staff.

Again another of the eco lodges came up 'trumps'. Lovely setting beside the beach. Swimming pool was welcome. Food, room and service were very good.

We stayed here two nights when we went to see the Komodo dragons. The lodge is in a quiet area. The rooms are large with excellent AC and water pressure. They have a big pool and a nice sitting areas where many bird watchers would greet the morning while having their coffee/tea and watch the local birds and the ocean. They have excellent meals with both a set an ala carte menu. Everything we ate was wonderful. They have a small in house bar with wines, beer and soft drinks.The have an internet station as well.

The staff was most helpful. Enjoy the peace and quiet with cool breeze from the ocean!
