Stayed there for 3 nights with my GF

Wonderful view in the evening as our little hut is overlooking the sea. Can see the little marine creatures moving about after every wave poured in. bathroom area was huge and so is the bedroom. There is a little "zoo" nearby too.

Now for the not so fantastic points: Bath tub was very small,the size of the bathroom terrified my gf as the facilities inside are like at each corner and kinda a distance apart from one another. Air con went out in the morning so we have to get out of the room early to walk about as there isnt any shuttle service.

Walking back from the lobby is really nice as the area is very cooling and smooth though if you walk at night it gets errie

Didnt really try the water sports as it is kinda EX and looks very overused. Instead we just chillout near the beach

Restaurant has a nice view and the mood is about right though the food does not comply with the ambience

Really enjoy the trip if you are looking for a relaxing and quiet 3 days 2 night chillout trip. Though i will not recommend anything more than that.

The resort is approximately 45 min car journey away from the Bintan ferry terminal.
Quiet, not crowded and abit wulu.

Their receptionist are friendly and they even lead us the way to our rooms.
The room is quite spacious with seaview, we manage to get a connecting room for the 5 of us.

What i don't like about the room is that the toilet light they uses orange light bulb, therefore the whole toilet looks dim and abit spooky. We took the table lamp from the room into the toilet and manage to make the toilet abit brighter and less scary. There are also stains on the bed sheet.
The door to the balcony was abit faulty, you have to push very hard to open it. There are no free wifi in the room.

Dinner restaurant is a 5 min walk away from the lobby. They doesn't have much lights around the resort, the way to the restaurant was abit dark moreover it is situated away from the shore. However, they serve good ayam penyet there !

After dinner, on our way back, I guess their electrical circuit tripped. The whole resort lights went off and was pitch dark. Really scary, we couldn't even see what was infront. Lucky, after a few minute it was back to normal again.

The only thing that i like about there was their Sea sports and Fireworks!
Sea sport, you must try their (Big Mable, Poparazzi and banana boat) although it was abit expensive and left us muscle ache for a few days, it was totally worth it !

We had a nice stay during our weekend away from Singapore. It's not very flashy, but totally OK. They have two rather small pools, one overlooking the sea. Do note that the beach is pretty bad, you'll have to walk 400 feet out into the water before it starts getting deep. If you're into kite surfing, this place rocks! They also offer kite surfing 2 or 3 day lessons, if I'm not mistaken. There is a complimentary shuttle bus that takes you to another Agro-resort, but the beach isn't much better here.

They offer two restaurants, one at the end of a pier and one next to the resort next to the major pool area. Both serves great value food, not too expensive (as long as you don't want a bottle of wine).

Nevertheless, we spent a weekend here and really enjoyed ourselves. The scenery from the beach area is beautiful which is perfect for relaxing with a good book.

It's also worth to mention that they offer guided tours by boat (we chose the mangrove tour and got to see snakes sleeping in the trees, a big eagle and monkeys), which is highly recommended if you find yourself getting bored. We had a very clean and nice room, and I'm not really sure why the other reviewers are complaining about the cleanliness. Both my girlfriend and I found the entire place pretty clean and well managed.

As most places on Bintan, its location makes it kind of isolated. Not the place to go if your'e looking to party.

We stayed in room 5303. Don't take rooms from that block. The shower trickled only a few drops of water that I didn't have a proper shower for 2 days.
Food was slightly below average. However, if you are looking for a relaxing place to read one whole novel, this this the place to go. The resort is like way out from civilization. So if you want to shop and paint the town red.. Forget it!
