It was our first time staying at the Club Med and we were very impressed with their excellent service by CDV Mike and his G.Os! My husband and myself went on Feb 2013, staying there for 5D4N as it was our Birthday vacation.
Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome by G.Os, with towels and drinks. Then one of the G.O explained to us about the resort. We were lucky to get our room ready upon arrival! G.O Jay assisted/escorted us to our room on the 4th floor which faced the sea and has a beautiful scenery! The down side was we were given 2 single beds and the beds were not set up(flowers petals and folded decorated towel on beds). Jay immediately contacted the housekeeping to change the beds to a double bed. It was changed when we were back from our breakfast at the Terrace, so efficient! But there was still no deco/set up on the bed(which we seen online shared by other guests). The toilet was kinda smelly, despite the housekeeping came to spray at the toilet but still stinks throughout our stay.
During the stay the CDV Mike and the G.Os were so friendly, proactive, smiley and showed so much passion in their work!
G.O Leo went on stage to sing/dedicate us a Chinese song for our birthday. CDV Mike and the rest of the G.Os surprised us with Birthday Cakes and Song! (my husband and my birthday were just one day apart) G.O Jemmi even drew a beautiful picture of us as a Birthday gift! We were truly amazed and impressed with the arrangement, surprises and the thoughtful gifts by them! It was such a memorable Birthday celebration for the both of us.
The food at the Waterfall was pretty nice, it has different themes for the buffet everyday. At times we skipped our lunch and went for late lunch at the Terrace. Their Nasi Goreng was delicious, my husband even have 2 plates and he inquired from G.E Said whether if it was possible for him to have a plate of french fries(which is not on the Menu list), and he fulfilled my husband's craving! Even it was just a plate of fries but it was what excellent service is all about by delighting their guests in all possible ways! Unfortunately on the second visit, my husband wanted to order a 2nd helping of the Nasi Goreng, but was informed by G.O Syafiq that each guest was entitled to only one main course from the menu.(by the way the menu doesn't reflect that only one plate for each guest) On top of that, whenever the G.Es(except Said) / Chefs worked at the Terrace, they did not seemed to be as friendly/smiley as when they were at the Waterfall. Because of that we did not even want to have our Dinner there(which has to book in advance) and never went back there for late lunch again. We rather enjoyed the wonderful service at the Waterfall. G.Os at time will sit in and dine with us.
It will be nice if there are more fresh juice selections(only orange and watermelon in the list).
G.O Naomi, Arielle, J.P, Jay, Laura, Widodo, Wayan and Rob always greeted us with smile.
We truly enjoyed the massage at the Spa and the heavenly ambience! We went there 3 days!
The friendliness of Mike and his team and the activities organized every day and night really make our birthday stay fun and memorable!
On our departure day, Mike and his G.Os bid us a fond farewell. G.O Marco even ran along with our coach and everyone were laughing! Even until the last, they still put in their best to ensure their guests have a remarkable stay with them.
Mike and his G.Os really work very hard for long hours and in all field without failing to show their passion in their job! Well done to Mike and his G.Os!
