“Thank You Bintan Cabana”

Indeed, I was well taken cared of. An ideal place for serene, tranquil and isolation break from the choaking world. Its you, the sand, the sea and the peace that you wishing for. This is where you can recollect yourself by taking time to think of your present, letting go of the past and reengineer your future life direction. The only hicups was the dreded mosquitos that bites a lot. hehehe... they can give free repelant lotion just ask. Nevertheless, I dont mind coming back for these blissful experience.

The hotel staff are friendly but they have language limitation. Most residents are locals and Singaporeans. The food is okay butane price same as Singapore. Be sure to stay at the seaside as the hotel as another Wing across the road which has no sea view. The place is laid back and relaxed, wifi is not reliable but it keeps phone calls and SMS at bay, giving the residents a total piece of mind from work! The beach front is really nice and relaxing !

Stayed in Bintan Cabana Beach Resort for 4D3N in June 2013. Topped up 10SGD per night more for the Junior Suite Room as recommended from reviews and boy, yhe view was excellent from the our room! The beach was a mere 10-seconds away from our balcony!

Wi-fi only available at the main lobby, and unfortunately for us, it was pretty much down for 3 of the days that we were there. Had to travel to the sister resort, Agro Beach Resort to use the Wi-fi there.

Shuttle bus was free, but timing was very inflexible! for example, the bus leaves Cabana at 530pm and the next bus is at 8pm. Which means that you have to hop on the 530pm bus(which i personally feel its too early for dinner) to be able to reach Agro for dinner at the restaurants there.

Price of food at the resort was reasonable, about the same as Singapore. A curry chicken combo meal cost 50,000rupiah, which is around 6SGD++.

Breakfast was simple and below average, with houseflies ALL over the place. I kid you not.

However, service was top-notched and it is evident that the employees do enjoy what they are doing.

We had alot of fun at the beach as the water was clean. We caught crabs, starfish, and even small lobsters!

Agro beach has much more activities than Cabana but the prices are pretty steep as well.

I would recommend this place to those who enjoy lazing under the sun and love playing in the sea and on the beach.

Room Tip: Get a junior suite room! :)

I've stayed for 3d2n. It located around 1h from ferry terminal. The free land transfer is a big van,it means that you hv 2 share with other guest. Van condition - depends on ur luck.gud luck! Hehee.. I arrived around 2pm local time and my room was not ready.I've wait for like an hour 2 get my room. Finally!! The room was sooooo spacious, nice n comfortable. But honestly I have to say that the bathroom is fulll of problem. The shower, flushing problem n stain on the bathtub. If only the bathroom is in good condition I will give 4/5.. Booked junior suite which is infront of the sea. Beautiful view. Nothing much to do here. Wifi is only at the lobby area. If u used smartphone n not the iphone, get urself a local simcard n use the internet package(better than roaming-xpensive). Breakfast spread, was excellent in sunday but on monday, just average. I think they prepare special dish only on weekend. Duhh... However I loooove the room bcoz it was so spacious n comfy..juz the bathroom :(

We had 2 nights at Bintan Cabana Beach Resort last week. Since it was full moon period, we watched the moon rising with a brilliant reflection on the clear blue water. It was magnificent. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, next morning we were in for a yet another pleasant surprise. Sun rise was breath-takingly beautiful. In fact it was one of the best sunrises we have ever seen! Managed to get a whole lot of beautiful photos of that glorious sun rise. High tide and low tide was also very interesting. In the morning when the tide was low, we walked up to about a mile into the sea. After a few hours water level started to rise so much, we went for a dip in the sea almost at the same place. Resort is generally peaceful and quiet. Staff was quite friendly. Food is reasonably good but is catered mainly to suit Asian palettes I think. We had a moonlight barbeque on the beach which was excellent. Our room was on the sea side. If someone needs a quiet, nice place to relax for a couple of days, this could be the ideal place.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the seaside. You get a beautiful sea view.

we stayed here for one night after a short vacation from Singapore and Malacca..our room is right facing the beach..we sat on the bench in front of our room to get sunset moments that day..we sat still have a chat until we realized that the full moon arose at the east..it was so lovely watching the movement of the full moon and the reflection of it on the sea as it was tide already..I claimed it as the most beautiful full moon I've ever seen!!

I love the room and the view around the hotel as a package of the calm beach with big amazing stones scattered around..nice place to relax as it's not a big hotel with many rooms hence you can have privacy and relaxing moments without noise..
the food is average..I think the ambience and the beauty of Trikora beach are the X factor of this hotel..
the staff were friendly and helpful..the room rate is affordable for Indonesians and foreigners..quite surprising that we were the only Indonesians who stayed there as most of the hotel guests were foreigners..

Room Tip: rooms right in front of the beach is the best value for sure

Some good and not so good aspects to this place. Firstly, staff and friendly and try to be helpful. Its quite a way from the ferry terminal, the journey can take an hour in the hotel bus. I was originally booked into a "Luxury' room whicg turned out to be far from luxury and situated across the road from the main part of the hotel and sea. As I approached it in the dark it looked impressive - a standalone villa, However the interior is very disappointing - very basic furniture, old style CRT TV, no aircon in the main part of the villa - only in the partitioned bedroom so to hot to sit and relax in the villa, verandah but no outdoor seating. Being in this room away from the sea view is quite depressing. The next day I asked to change room, I paid an extra SGD30 for a new room in a block extending over the sea. The room was much nicer and better appointed with full aircon, flatscreen TV, balcony with seats overlooking the sea, nice bathroom (although the drains smelled bad). Theres not much to do at the resort and the beach is nothing much to shout about but if you just want a quiet place to relax this is OK. I have to say the food is not great for me. The breakfast choice was limited and mostly Asian dishes, some, but limited western choices - cereal, bread eggs, thats about it. I had dinner one night but was not impressed, although its very cheap. Overall, this place is OK, it didn't impress me but on the other hand it wasn't that bad. Next time i go to Bintan, I will try somewhere else.

Room Tip: Avoid 'Luxury' rooms across the road away from the sea
