“Need to hasten the renovation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

Went to The Hills bcoz of location near Nagoya Hill Mall but regretted as renovation was on going. Deluxe room booked was with a killing view (dirty vacant shophouse) not as requested, room facing Nagoya Mall. Omg, toilet need major renovation as rust was everywhere. Wifey complained and suggested another hotel (Harris Hotel Batam Centre). Check out the next day and went to Harris hotel, much better and cleaner.

Great location. 10mins walk to Nagoya Shopping Mall. Good local food around the hotel. Great local experience. Friendly & smiley Staff. Good job! Room a little run down as it is an old building but is currently under some minor re-vamp i guess. So expecting a new-look on my definitely next stay! The Hills definitely can expect us to be back again for the great shopping experience!

To be honest, the hotel was not as new as we expected.
But lucky, they manage to keep it clean.
The room was quite spacious for me and another 2 girl friends.
The best thing is that the hotel has a really good location.
Just across the hotel there was a mall, Nagoya Hill Mall. Where you could buy many many things.
And, spa and massage centre were just beside it too. The Spa Secret and IndoThai Massage, up to you guys to choose.
Personally, I would return to this hotel on my next visits.

Noisy corridors with bad sound proofings.

Dark toilets with stained burnt marks on the bath tub. Stained towels.

Don't bother trying out the in house Sands massage because the masseuse does not charge the in house prices and blatantly asks for a tip!

Room service requests for extra towels and pillows were very prompt. Good variety of breakfast if your expectations are not high.

Very good location to Nagoya Hill though.

i was there in 2009. it was actually a couple getaway.3 couple on d go.i took an executive room.(formely it was named puri garden hotel). the cost was sgd120 per room.but it was worth it as d room has a dining area, sofa n d bed was spacious.opp was nagoya shopping mall which was very convinience.any time aft 10am you can shop till u drop.d hotel offer massage.so aft shopping u can get a gd massage.breakfast was ok. room service food was ok too.overall m planning to go back tis hotel again rather than pacific palace but i must say d pacific palace food was superlicious for their breakfast....still i wld prefer tis hotel as i paid sgd 146 for pacific palace hotel including d extra bed where as tis room u dont nd one as u can sleep on d sofa if u hv more than 3 ppl.

I visited Hills Hotel in Batam with my friends and had quite good fun with my friends. We had so much fun. The location is good. Rooms are little bit old but nice. The service was also good. The locality is very good but lobby and restaurant is not renovated.

Room Tip: Rooms are little bit old but nice.

Stayed 1 night at this hotel (over the weekend). The room is average, not big but too small either. Spread for breakfast was pretty good. The staff service is good though. Always smiling and ever willing to help. The best part about this hotel is the location. Smack right in the middle of Nagoya town and Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre is just across the road and had lots of restaurants in the shopping mall. Don't need to worry about finding a place to eat. Will definitely stay again in this hotel because of the location.
