We arrived at about 4.30pm and they will getting ready to set the tables. Everything is in a mess, they have many staff but poorly trained staff who work slow and don't seem to know what to do next. The utensils were not properly washed and you can find stain, but we overcome it by washing ourselves, clean the chairs as they are stained and wet. Due to low tide, the smell and the rubbish on the seabed are really not desirable but I guess one has to take it as part and parcel of their lifestyle. The Manager is helpful and is patience with us (group of 10) and ordering went well, but as the menu has no pricelist which we are not comfortable with, we did make a request for the pricing to be put down on the order. The food was delicious, hot and good portion and overall price was about 40% cheaper than we can get in Singapore Che Zar place. Also thing to take note is they do have different quality beer of the same brand, therefore you need to know your brand and packing well enough to pick and chose the right stuff, or you ended paying top dollar for the lower end quality. I have rated the atmosphere as 'Very good' as it is rather scenic when you look across the water to see rows of attap houses, the water, an container ship in the midst of the sky and modern light bulbs, it is breezy and I would say it can be romantic if it is high tide Or you can overlook at the seabed and the smell.
