“Fantastic View of the sea and islands!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

A great sight indeed, the bridge is well built and suspended and the wind are strong! There are road side stalls selling roasted corn & coconut drinks as well while you appreciate the view from up there.
Do not attempt to climb out of the railings, many people has died from the impact of the fall into the shallow waters bellow.

“Breathtaking Sunset”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

Firstly, do this only if you have
1. Arranged a driver for 1 day. (It's about 45mins drive subject to traffic from Batam City)
2. Want a different cultural view of actual Batam locals.

For me, I did and I don't regret.
Because
a) The bridge is spectacular and a magnificent piece of architecture.
But incomplete? What a pity.
b) On the bridge there were street hawkers and the locals would gawk at foreigners looking lost at this part of town.

Tip: Try the local "Rujak" (see my pictures) and it is absolutely delicious. We tried ours at a hawker stall names "Gendut Rujak". He speaks a little English and you will appreciate his 'showmanship' when making the dish.

PS: Do cross the bridge and have dinner at one of the local seafood restaurants. Cheap crabs!
