Giant Bridge vs Giant Fried Crab
it was great trip to Batam. tooks 3hours from bali by connection flight.
one place i should visit and a must is Barelang bridge, which is connect three island ( Batam - Rempang - Galang )
best time to visit is about three o clock local time, it was blue sky and great water refflection.AWESOME.
another item, that makes your visit to Batam memorable are, Giat Fried Crab.its so tasty, those crab are taken from the swamp around the bridge, and naturaly grown.

Just like other normal bridge, with scenery view of next island and bay. Usually people stop by and hang around the bridge side, but i heard nowdays is not allowed anymore. The bridge was constructed to connect Batam Island with Rempang Island and Galang Island. In total there are 7 bridges to connect these 3 big islands.
There are plenty good local seafood nearby the island after Barelang bridges. They called it "Kelong".

Visiting Batam will not complete without visiting this landmark...consisting of 6 big bridges, if I'm not mistaken..

Connecting Batam, Rembang and Galang islands, these bridges spread across beautiful blue sea and small islands...

Interesting indeed, though it was a bit tricky to park and take pictures here..The favorite one is the second bridge, the cable-stayed one...

Many street vendors along the bridge and many people spend their afternoon by the bridge..

Worth a visit ..

There has 8 Bridges in island. You can reach there by taxi but quite expensive but you can bagain them. I think view is ok not bad.
