“2-Day Trip - 4 Rooms - Worth to Recommend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2013

Hotel is located next to BCS Mall + food stalls are just behind the hotel. Very inconvenience especially when we have 2 very old ladies with us. Food is very cheap. Hotel staff are very friendly and polite. Buffet spread is above average. We rang housekeeping and their service is superb. Funny thing is one set of towels in the room when we have twin booking so the reason of calling housekeeping.

We booked 4 rooms (8 pax): 3 rooms are large, very clean and comfortable but the 4th room (where I stay) corner one is very dirty especially the toilet. It is very small, dark (black tiles) and so greasy. There is no shower curtain to stop the water from wetting everywhere. Worst there is no hook to hang our clothing. You can tell the room has not been dust nor wipe at all. Thanks God the beds are clean and comfortable. Due to just one night, we just bear with it - trying not to be a too picky Singaporean.

Otherwise the hotel is good, value for money and worth to return, if only my comment on my room condition is meet.

Room Tip: Do not take the 4 corner rooms - very small. The ratings have been pull down due to our corner room...

Location - A+ Located just next to Shopping Mall, Food centers and massage places. It's another Nagoya City Mall if you must say. On my previous job, I have placed many clients in this hotel and clients are relatively happy. The General Manager, Mr Winston can be rated one of the best general manager in Batam. Very accommodating and always giving rooms for improvement. Staffs are also friendly and warmth. My family loves this hotel and always returning to the same place once coming back to batam.
I have personally stay various hotels in Nagoya City and what can i say.. It is indeed a good business hotel, good for couple, family and friends. For Solos, you won't be disappointed too.

Room Tip: Premier rooms which ending number 11 series are more spacious and if you are a couple you may book t...

Stayed in this Hotel for one night only and had a very comfortable stay. The rooms are large, clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was very nice. Very nice buffet style with plenty of choice of both Indonesian and Continental style food. Overall a lovely stay and being next to the Mall and a Food Court was just perfect location.

Room Tip: Go for a 'Super' room.

The BCC Hotel & Residence is a decent place that offers good value for money. It is a 10 minute taxi ride from Harbour Bay ferry terminal (or 15 mins from Batam Centre) and is centrally located - shopping malls such as DC Mall and Nagoya Hill Mall are a short taxi ride away while the BCS Mall is just next to the hotel.

Rooms
We stayed for a 1 night weekend getaway, and booked 2 deluxe suite rooms. Although the official check-in time stated was 2pm, we were pleasantly surprised that the room was ready for us just before noon. We were promptly assigned our rooms on the 21st floor. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Each room was roughly the size of a squash court. The space between the bed and the TV console is big enough to fit another king bed and is perfect for kids to roll and around and play in. The aircon units were working fine, although some guests had complained about them in the weeks prior to our stay.

Only 2 gripes about the room. Firstly, the telephones did not have a directory for us to refer to which was confusing especially when we need to make room to room calls. Second, the toilets were generally clean and spacious but there was a lingering odour that smelled like sewage.

Facilities
The hotel has a decent swimming pool. The main pool was about half the size of an Olympic pool, with the depths ranging from 1.35m to 1.8m. There was a shallower pool next to it and a smaller jacuzzi-type area with warm water.

Buffet breakfast was served at the cafeteria on level P4. The food selection was limited and the quality and taste was nothing fantastic - nasi goreng, baked beans, sausages, eggs, fruits and some types of bread and pastries.

Wifi is available throughout the hotel. The staff at the reception will give you the password. Just log in and you're connected. The wifi strength and speed was quite good.

The taxi services provided by the hotel are affordable. A comfortable ride for 6 adults (without luggage) cost 50,000rp to a location like Nagoya Hill Mall and 65,000rp to the Batam Centre ferry terminal.

Service
Although the service was nothing to shout about, all hotel staff were friendly, polite and responsive.

Would definitely consider a return stay at The BCC during our next trip to Batam.

Next to the shopping mall, it's a pretty new hotel located at the city centre. Rooms are big & clean, people are warm and welcoming. Breakfast...hmm...nothing special, however the hawker centre nearby is highly recommended for seafood lovers.

Bought a package which included ferry, transfer and hotel stay.

Location: Good. Walking distance to nearby food centre (which serves very nice chicken rice), shopping mall (nothing much in the mall but ok) and massage palour.

Service: Requested for inter linked rooms but was not granted. Not very flexible in this sense. Basically, we only use one room coz we jus want to spend time having gals night.

Breakfast spread is good with egg station but food in warmer are not really warm. Most food are not tasty...

Cleanliness: Clean... No complaint on this area.

Overall, for a night of getaway, this hotel is ok.

Stayed here for a night with group of friends in the 2 bedroom apt.

Room is not sound proof so we tend to hear noises from the pub below. 2 out of 3 aircons are leaking. Remote control for one of the TV is missing. Buffet breakfast is so-so only.

Swimming pool is cleaner than I have expected. Shopping mall & A2 are just nearby, do not fret if you are hungry around midnight. Service staffs are friendly to assist your needs.

Will consider here if you require a hotel near town.

Room Tip: Try to get a higher floor room when booking to avoid the noise.
