I were there with 3 friends on the 24 to 25th March. I would like to give a 2 thumbs up to the GM and all the staff. I was in a hotel industry for 20 years plus and I like the concept of the way the staff working attitute. They are pro-active, multi-tasking, helpful, innovative, always smile and friendly. That goes to the the staff from the backstation e.g. Housekeeping, Stewarding, IS, Engineering and Secutiry Office.
I called for help on my wifi connection, withing 5 minutes, the IS staff is at our door. Very efficent. The F&B staff and Front Office staff are so energetic and cheerful.
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner looks OK to us but the Hi-Tea is a bit dissapointed. I thought the Hi-Tea is like the normal Hi-Tea in Singapore with wide spread of food but what we saw is only cookies, 1 cake and a samosa with tea and coffee. We were asking ourselves, "it's a joke of the day or what?" It does not matter afterall cos we are there to enjoy not to eat or complain about food.
We like the distance from the hotel to the Batam Centre and Shooping are very convinient.
My special complimet to Yanto from Front office who go an extra mile to help when I said I lost the my e-voucher.
Overrall - Worth staying there and we felt so at home. We will be back again!
