Just came back and would like to share experiences.

Location:
As most review has written, its near to Nogoya hill shopping centre (5 mins taxi at 35000 rupiah) The area doesn't have any restaurants or 7 eleven (k circle) or any shops. 10 mins taxi ride away from Harbour Bay terminal / Harbour Bay Mall.

Check in was simple, fast and easy.

Room:
Clean and spacious. Living room with comfortable sofa, 32" TV (Not all the channels are working), 2 toilets, balcony, kitchen(mircowave, not working water boiler, big fridge)

Breakfast:
Very good spread of breakfast choices.

Pool:
Clean but small pool. Near to the pool does have steam bath facility but not working.

Overall, under rated hotel and will return for my next batam trip.

Room Tip: Avoid second floor where the karaoke club is located at.

the location is very near to nagoya hill shopping center less than 10min the taxi amount ard 35000 rupiah. From batam center around 20min the best is ferry stop at Harbour bay is just 10min awhile. Worth it to stay.

Well hotel was okie. It was up to 3 star standards. The walk way had a bad smell, dirty floor mat, wrong choice of flooring for the toilet which makes it slippery, bad lighting system. Dirty looking towels. Good bed and pillow. Spacious enough for 2 people. Good breakfast.

Be careful of laundry services. I found some one else’s cloths in my room when I came back at night. No one came to collect it again even after I informed the front desk.

Well not a very bad hotel as it sounds. It’s okie for a simple holiday.

Location is real close to Harbor Bay Ferry Terminal, about 10 minutes car ride away. Hotel is situated on a slope, away from the main traffic & noise. Upon arrival, greeted by friendly staff. Check -in is a brisk, only to present the Agoda voucher (booked the room through Agoda for less than S$50/night inclusive of breakfast & taxes) & a deposit of S$50 (refundable upon check-out) & they are nice to upgrade us to a superior room with balcony. Check-in time is supposed to be at 2pm but they are nice enough to let us check in at 12pm (we are just trying our luck). Room did have a hint of cigarette smell but we just open up the windows & balcony & let the fresh air in. Room is big & clean, though toilet is small but clean as well, providing the basic toiletries but a pity no hair dryer. TV offers lots of programs including Singapore & cable channels. Wifi signal is strong through the whole hotel. Air-con unit is a bit old & noisy but still in good working condition. Like the pool, clean & clear water but cold, should be due to that day's weather. Did not try their gym or spa. Am happy with the breakfast spread,though it's the usual hotel spread (salad, sausage, assorted breads, cereals, fruits, rice, noodles, porridge, egg station etc), at least they did change the menu of the cooked food & they taste good. Lastly like to thank the staff for lending us the mobile phone charger: Hubby's charger suddenly "died" on him & so we tried our luck again, borrowed from the staff & they gladly did so. A big thank you! Swiss-belinn in very near to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre, a mere 15 minutes walk, but do be careful of the traffic.

Location was near Nagoya and rooms were tastefully done to suit business and long stay travelers. Bed was comfortable but the air conditioning wasn't that great despite having 2 in the room.

It is also situated close to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal and getting a cab was easy. Just make sure you mention Swiss Belinn instead of Swiss Inn as there is another one in town. One more Swiss Belinn is coming up just within the compound of the ferry terminal.

Room service was prompt and food was good. Reservation staffs were friendly throughout and I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

I have stayed at this hotel in the past however when I checked into my room I was greeted with the smell of rotting wet over deodorized carpet which was so bad I moved to another room only to be greeted with the same foul smelling air, so I opened a window and in wafted the smell of rotting garbage. The stench of the carpet combined with the smell of rotting garbage was so bad I was unable to sleep, so I checked out and went to another hotel. Two weeks later when I checked my credit card statement the hotel had charged me for the room at the full hotel rate, not the discounted rate offer by the accommodation website.

Room Tip: If you want a good nights sleep stay clear of this hotel.

We chose this hotel because they have 2 bedroom suites for our family of 5. We booked directly through phone. We reached there early so we just dropped our bags and was asked to come back at 2 pm, fair enough coz it's the check-in time. Since our children will enjoy the swimming pool, we agree to change the room from our initial booking in 3rd floor, to Basement floor for easy access to the pool.

Here are some things to highlight :
When we came at 2pm, the room was not ready, we were asked to wait another 30 minutes. We were tired, but we can't say anything.... but after more than half an hour, the staff asked us to wait for another 15 minutes. We raised our unhappiness, but the staff keep saying the room was still not ready... Meanwhile the Duty Manager who were there, just stand there saying nothing.... We were actually expecting him giving us some explanation about the delay, but he just let the staff deal with our questions... in the end we get our room ready just after 3 pm. It's totally different with our experience in other hotel where the Manager will immediately come up to deal with some complain matter.. During the stay we come across with him at least two times, including the last day when we came out of the lift with all our luggage in hands, he still did not say anything about the incident....

Second incident was on our 2nd day. After breakfast, the person in charge in restaurant asked us to sign an acknowledgment that we had 1 extra breakfast.... that's strange, since we ordered extra bed which include breakfast. There's a lack of communication between the reception and restaurant.

The bedrooms are a bit confusing.. I don't know which is the master bedroom. The smaller room has toilet inside. But TV and safe deposit box are located in the 2nd room which is bigger.. There's kitchen complete with gas, but no cooking utensil at all. Not even a soap to wash the dishes.

Anyway.. we enjoy our stay.... The suites is quite big. Most important we can enjoy ourself, and still able to be together with our children. They should improve their customer service.
