“Nice 2 bedroom Hotel.....Need to improve on service.”

We chose this hotel because they have 2 bedroom suites for our family of 5. We booked directly through phone. We reached there early so we just dropped our bags and was asked to come back at 2 pm, fair enough coz it's the check-in time. Since our children will enjoy the swimming pool, we agree to change the room from our initial booking in 3rd floor, to Basement floor for easy access to the pool.

Here are some things to highlight :
When we came at 2pm, the room was not ready, we were asked to wait another 30 minutes. We were tired, but we can't say anything.... but after more than half an hour, the staff asked us to wait for another 15 minutes. We raised our unhappiness, but the staff keep saying the room was still not ready... Meanwhile the Duty Manager who were there, just stand there saying nothing.... We were actually expecting him giving us some explanation about the delay, but he just let the staff deal with our questions... in the end we get our room ready just after 3 pm. It's totally different with our experience in other hotel where the Manager will immediately come up to deal with some complain matter.. During the stay we come across with him at least two times, including the last day when we came out of the lift with all our luggage in hands, he still did not say anything about the incident....

Second incident was on our 2nd day. After breakfast, the person in charge in restaurant asked us to sign an acknowledgment that we had 1 extra breakfast.... that's strange, since we ordered extra bed which include breakfast. There's a lack of communication between the reception and restaurant.

The bedrooms are a bit confusing.. I don't know which is the master bedroom. The smaller room has toilet inside. But TV and safe deposit box are located in the 2nd room which is bigger.. There's kitchen complete with gas, but no cooking utensil at all. Not even a soap to wash the dishes.

Anyway.. we enjoy our stay.... The suites is quite big. Most important we can enjoy ourself, and still able to be together with our children. They should improve their customer service.

Hello,

My husband and I stayed at Swiss Belinn for 3days and 2 nights. The highlight of our stay was the customer service. The staff were pleasant and the service felt genuine.

Breakfast was decent enough to fill our stomach, nothing fancy but nothing to complain either.

The distance from the hotel was ard 5 mins to Nagoya Hill shopping mall. Each taxi ride cost us 35000rupiah. I am sure it will be much cheaper for locals. The distance from Batam Center ferry terminal is ard 5 mins too, 35000.

My dislike during the stay was the room itself, unfortunately we were given a smokers room. Once we stepped in the room it was very smelly. The smell didn't go off even after we left our hotel room and came back to Singapore. The staff did offer to change our room but we had to wait for couple of hours before our check in. (We were there early) so we took the room instead of waiting.

Another downside is, we were put up in fourth floor, and there was a Karaoke bar at level two. The noise after midnight was so loud that it kept me up on the first night. The next day I mentioned it to the staff and they assured me that they will inform the bar to keep the volume down. On the second night there was barely any noise or I was probably too tired and slept through it. :)

Based on the overall experience I would say I wouldn't mind staying there again. :)

Room Tip: Ask for level 4 and above. Try to get the rooms facing Singapore.

Booked my 2D1N stay through booking.com at an affordable price of 48sgd/room for 2 persons and was delighted to be given a free upgrade upon arrival to a deluxe room as we requested for a non-smoking room and the hotel was fully booked for the Vesak Day weekend! The room was very spacious,comfortable and most importantly clean! The staff at the reception were also very friendly! Location was good too as it was only 10-15minutes walk or 5 minutes taxi to Nagoya Hill Shopping Centre!

Only flaw was that the cafe for breakfast was a little too small and could not accomodate many guests. Hence, we had to wait for 15-20minutes before we were seated for breakfast, but was glad to have sofas in the lobby while waiting. The buffet spread was almost cleaned out by 8.30am so we were pretty disappointed and the replacing of food was a little slow! But since we still had our share of food, we were still happy thereafter! :)

Was there with a friend via a Groupon purchase. Stayed there for just 1 night. In general, it's an okay place to stay at with reasonable pricing. Their staff was friendly & helpful. Horrible food in my opinion, we had to purchase KFC & JCO from the mall back to hotel for dinner coz we really don't think much of the taste of the food being served. Breakfast spread was ok, nothing fancy & u really can't complain with the low room rates that was being charged. Don't think i'll stay with them again thou.

Room Tip: They are still using the traditional keys here. Doesn't feel too safe to me so make sure u don...

Pre booked a room at this hotel with my credit card about 2 months prior to my proposed trip for a 7 day stay. Due to work commitments had to cancel and gave the hotel 48 hours notice of my non arrival. I anticipated possibly 1 or 2 day cancellation fee but they charged me for the total 7 days.
Not only disappointed that I couldn't make my holiday but even more disappointed when charged for 7 days without even stepping foot in the hotel.
The hotel did respond promptly to my emails regarding my concerns but were ruthless and showed no goodwill with their response.
BEWARE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHEN PRE BOOKING AT THIS HOTEL PARTICULARLY WHEN BOOKING WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD.

i stayed here during march,2013 on a pleasure trip and found this to be a good place to stay. well maintaned rooms with a spacious balcony, good food, ideal location and courteous staff. however, they do not have a safety locker in the room and has to use the one near the reception.

Stayed 2 nights, it's a 3min drive from ferry terminal. 5min to Nagoya Hills Mall.
Allowed to check in early. Staff friendly. Pool was nice. Breakfast spread was good, they change the menu as well over the 2 day stay. Overall satisfied!

Negative-
1- if u are a light sleeper-ask for room on higher floor , as there is a band that plays till way past midnight! but we were tired so it didnt bother me juz knocked off!
2-No food stall around u only have room service if u stay in. else u gotta take cab out
3- More lighting along pathway to swimming pool would be appreciated! n also they need to clear food left by guest at pool table asap as a super size rat came by to pick on the food, my gal keep looking out for the rat! no peaceful swim :)
