We chose this hotel because they have 2 bedroom suites for our family of 5. We booked directly through phone. We reached there early so we just dropped our bags and was asked to come back at 2 pm, fair enough coz it's the check-in time. Since our children will enjoy the swimming pool, we agree to change the room from our initial booking in 3rd floor, to Basement floor for easy access to the pool.
Here are some things to highlight :
When we came at 2pm, the room was not ready, we were asked to wait another 30 minutes. We were tired, but we can't say anything.... but after more than half an hour, the staff asked us to wait for another 15 minutes. We raised our unhappiness, but the staff keep saying the room was still not ready... Meanwhile the Duty Manager who were there, just stand there saying nothing.... We were actually expecting him giving us some explanation about the delay, but he just let the staff deal with our questions... in the end we get our room ready just after 3 pm. It's totally different with our experience in other hotel where the Manager will immediately come up to deal with some complain matter.. During the stay we come across with him at least two times, including the last day when we came out of the lift with all our luggage in hands, he still did not say anything about the incident....
Second incident was on our 2nd day. After breakfast, the person in charge in restaurant asked us to sign an acknowledgment that we had 1 extra breakfast.... that's strange, since we ordered extra bed which include breakfast. There's a lack of communication between the reception and restaurant.
The bedrooms are a bit confusing.. I don't know which is the master bedroom. The smaller room has toilet inside. But TV and safe deposit box are located in the 2nd room which is bigger.. There's kitchen complete with gas, but no cooking utensil at all. Not even a soap to wash the dishes.
Anyway.. we enjoy our stay.... The suites is quite big. Most important we can enjoy ourself, and still able to be together with our children. They should improve their customer service.
