We were impressed by the hotel exterior, the staffs & their service. Although there wasn't any major shopping centre nearby, the hotel provides free shuttle service to Nagoya Hills Shopping Centre & Batam City Square. It's not a problem looking for food as there are restaurants within the hotel & across the road. For the more adventurous, there are roadside food stalls too,

At first, i was impressed by the luxury of its exterior - as seen on the internet. After 30 minutes check in process, finally i've got a non smoking room. Not too big but enough space for 1 person and everythings were OK, except its services.

somehow, miscommunication was the most cases everytime we communicated with the staff. For example: (1) 30 minutes check in process was amazing and this was the longest process that i've ever had;
(2) Some of the staff repeatedly stating that we cannot request taxi and other service as there was no guarantee that we're staying in the hotel. After argumentation, they realized that we're actually staying in the hotel and our credit cards have been blocked for millions to cover the expenses.
(3). miscommunication between receptionist and banquet staff, so that we must repeatedly stating our request on how we want the meeting room to be designed.

Last but not least, I have no disappointment staying in this hotel. However, if the management really care and supports for improvement, I think "service" is the most important area to be improved.

The hotel has some kind of neo-classical design...looks new and well maintained. Our deluxe room is spacious and clean. but breakfast is very ordinary, nothing to boast about. The swimming is pathetic small. gym has limited machines..

Have travel to Batam with my mother-in-law and family on 19/01/2013 to 20/01/2013, the hotel is very nice and romance, it have the feel like Roman's Castle, the room we stayed in is superior(triple), it was very spacious and clean, the Hotel lobby was very spacious, and can occuppy a big group of tourist, the restuarant also big and nice, the breakfast hv lots of variety and fresh food serve, the staffs in the Restuarant are very polity.

The swimming is very special, it's at the roof top, and next to it is the GYM, which is very convience.

The Hotel is very near to Batam Center Ferry Terminal and Mega Mall Shopping Centre, it's very convience for tourist to do their shopping there.


I'll definately come back again to this Hotel, and will recommen to all my friends.
