“Great Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2011

Situated behind Mal Botanica, this hotel offer great value for money and a great location. Rooms were clean and good size. Breakfast is aimed at the Indonesian guest but some European food can be found.

Hotel has a large swimming pool and gym.

Staff were helpfully and were always available with suggestions. The hotel is a short stroll to the famous Bogor Batanical Gardens.

We travelled to Bogor to play golf and were centrally located to gain access to several golf courses.

Stayed here end july, part of botani square shopping centre. Close to citycenter.
Clean rooms, nice pool, good restaurant. Quality of the beds was okay. Value for money.
Only minus, is that if you have a taxi with pick-up service they have to pay for parking-lot and enterance and pick up is at other location.

I've stayed at Santika Bogor for a number of times now, all for work purposes. This hotel is well kept/managed, and extremely popular for small meetings and workshops since it's strategically located just outside of Jakarta with excellent access to the toll road.

The executive room (10th floor) is no different at all to the deluxe rooms. Disappointing bathroom as there's only standard shower and no bath. The only plus is the cakes & fruits served at the lobby lounge, available from late afternoon up to 8pm, free of charge for guests on that floor.

The staff are very helpful and quick to respond. Snacks during coffeebreaks are always abundant with at least 1 type of fruit, nuts of some sort, and simple cakes (both sweet and salty). Internet access is free for all guests with relatively fast connection. Breakfast is standard, spa is terrible (very regular, unskilled staff).

If you like organic products, you should check out the Serambi Botani outlet at the mall adjacent to the hotel. It is on the ground floor just opposite Starbucks. Notable items are organic noodles, honey, jam produced by Bogor Institute of Technology (IPB).

Other places of interest include the botanical garden just across the road (with extremely cheap entrance fee!!) which is nothing to compare with the gardens in England, but nonetheless good for long solitary walks. Gumati Restaurant is just 10 minutes away by taxi, but it boasts nothing but good view.

The hotel has no characters (plain concepts), it's just enough for meeting or business ralted but not suitable for holiday. the business center is not well equiped, but it has good internet connection.
the meal is standard and has not much option. for those who love mall, this hotel is connected to Botani square mall

Went on a business trip to Bogor for 4 days. Was greeted very warmly at the hotel entrance and reception. Rooms were nicely done with all basic requirements available. The hotel staff was the thing to talk about during the stay. Very nice and helpful staff. When I had issues with my laptop not connecting Wi-Fi, one of the staff spent more than half an hour to get it sorted out.
The disappointing factor there was the food. I being a vegetarian had real issues in getting something to eat in the hotel. Did go for the dinner first day and found that only 2-3 vegetarian items were there in their menu and all had got exhausted for the day. Although the resturant person was pertty helpful and tried making some customised items for me. However vegetarian food remained the sour point still.
Another issue I had is that the hotel refused to accept the money in USD. Had to get it converted a day in advance and settle the bills.

Over a weekend to the amazing botanic gardens, this was a good place to stay. It's right next to the terminal for the DAMRI buses from Jakarta airport (one hour or so, every 20 minutes/30minutes - $4), across t he road from the gardens (but a bit of a walk to the entrance gate!) and linked to a blissfully air-conditioned shopping mall with restaurants, fast food and smartish cafes.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and functional. Reminded me of the better Holiday Inn |Express hotels. High ceilings and good aircon. The rather minimalist decoration of corridors and rooms can make noise a problem. The hotel atttracts a lot of incentive and conference packages, so this can overload the two lifts and the restaurant cafe.

There's a very stylish looking pool, but it's very small and fonts the restaurant, so probably more decorative than functional.

Breakfast is included, and very extensive it is. Internet is free, too.

Staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly.

I was here for weekend, the hotel located besides botani square mall, so it was hard to find an empty parking lot. Coz the hotel don't have its own parking lot. Strategic location, near restaurant, botanical garden, highway and bogor palace. The room is clean and looks like new, with smell of new painting. Small for executive class..the same with the deluxe room but its located at top floor, have executive lounge.the hotel said it has good view but not that good anyway..overthe price for that kind of room, you can have the same price at the 4 class hotel with better room. Standard food, small pool and gym...
