“nice weekend getaway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

I went to taman safari with my hubby last year.it was crowded because it was during school holiday i think..well, we just want to get some fun there..walking around, looking for cute animals, get some photoshoot :) and even played some games..i also bought a lovely souvenirs..and although it was quite expensive when you go there, i mean for the foods, souvenirs and also tickets. You'd better bring your own snacks n drinks there,lol....but after all its a vacation anyway, the point is that we're having fun there..its a nice weekend getaway from all of your work and busy day... but i totally recommended this kind of vacation for family or friends who wants to have fun there...^^
Have fun there with your loved ones also a good idea..^^)

“Great park, a must visit with family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013 via mobile

It took 3 hours to get there on a busy traffic. My advice try to go to Safari park on weekdays when street are not busy. But it was worth the effort. It's always great to go round by car to see the animal up close and even interract with guests. There are also playground and chairlift facilities and camel rides. Also be prepared for rain which is frequent in this area. I'm glad that Safari Park is always improving from time to time. Will certainly come back for more...

“Great fun day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Indonesian family of ours took us here and we had a great day out. Don't forget to buy your carrots on the way up the mountain and buy them early as the closer you get to the park the more expensive the carrots become. Best to go in a private vehicle or hire car as you drive through the first part of the park amongst the animals wandering alongside your car looking for a feed. Make sure you use the toilet first too if you need to as the kid were all busting by the time we finished driving the first part - there are no toilets once you enter the drive through area. The animals are well behaved and there are always guides keeping an eye out either on the back of an elephant or in a vehicle.
The second part of the park is a theme park area where you can go on a ride once only which is included in your entry fee. There is only a few things that you pay extra to do, like ride the elephants, 4D experience, buying food and souvenirs and buying tokens for some of the gaming machines. Lots of variety for all ages. As with most theme parks there are height and age restrictions for some things but plenty for everyone to have fun with. We did not see all of the park in our day trip and only watched a couple of the shows which are primarily in Indonesian although some translation to English if there are tourists in the park but at times even the English can be difficult to understand. The shows did have good intention with the morals of the story line though which I found appealing and the animals were well trained to take part.
The environment is pleasant to walk around even in the pouring rain, food is plentiful and varied to buy or you can bring your own and have a picnic.
Lots of amazing photos and a great day was had by the family.

“great adventure for kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

taman safari is always our favorite place to spend our holiday and try many activities there. the animals and scenery are always refreshing with good flow of traffic in and out to the area. if your drive there, park your car and enjoy the local transportation provided in the area so you can have a good time. the place is quite cold and perfect place to escape from jakarta.

“Great place to go with your children”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Taman Safari have a great place, great location and a lot of animal to be sees and interact with. The place is quite big, blend with nature and the guard quite active and watch the visitor and the animal. The children feels very excited to see all the animals and even more excited when they can feed the tame animals like the camels. After the tame animal we can see the dangerous animal that we should close the car windows.
Don't miss this place when you visit Jakarta or Indonesia...
