We had arranged to meet a friend (who lives in Bandung) & she'd suggested we have dinner here. Being in tourist mode & wanting to have local fare at every possible meal, the prospect of pizza & pasta was not really appealing (unless you're in Italy & pizza & pasta IS the local fare!) But, the main thing was to meet her, so, of course we agreed.
The place itself was nicely decorated & was rather packed with the Friday evening crowd. My friend had spaghetti with meatballs & her hubby had the lasagne - both looked as they should, nothing out of the ordinary. We (my 2 other friends & I) settled for a pizza with some chicken topping (honestly, I was paying much attention) to be shared. Our pizza arrived & looked.. like pizza.. but after taking a bite, I changed my mind - it was really good! It didn't have a typical tomato sauce base & I wished I did pay more attention to the menu to see what exactly was in the pizza. Another thing that I'd wish I'd done was to take some photos :(
Service was good & all our food arrived not long after ordering. Prices are reasonable (i.e.typical cafe) too.
So if you are ever in Paris Van Java Mall & fancy some pizza/pasta, do try this place.
