Room's Atmosphere, bed and bathroom are excellent (even without the breakfast, the room itself is worth the value). They have rooms in two building, the first one is the older one (but it's still good) while the second one is the new building and it's absolutely brilliant. Ask for the second building if possible.
Breakfast was good, good variety and service. Although they can improve in terms of the size of the non smoking area.
Location was good too, walking distance to a lot of shops and restaurants.
The only thing I don't like is the securities (Parking securities) in the lobby. They made it too obvious that they want tip. It's just annoying sometimes.
In conclusion, this hotel is a great hotel for any guest, couple, family with kids, friends or business.

Location is perfect at one of the main street in Bandung, Dago, which popular for young generation. Walking distance to the fashion outlet at Jalan Riau, Sumatra and Merdeka.

Good service and very nice rooms. We stayed at Holiday Inn Bandung for 3 days.

I've stayed here before as there is this location not much choice - tried Hyatt and Novotel but each has problems. Might try Anton next time.

The breakfasts at HI get very boring, lots of Indonesian food but its too sweet and salty for me, choice of cereals is limited, rice puffs and cardboard cornflakes or kids super sweet cereals. Choice of fruit and eggs cooked to order but that is about it, unless you also like bake beans, cold potatoes and cold beef sausages. Most of the "hot" food is cold because the warmers don't work properly.

Service OK but getting fed up with the cramped bathroom, not even enough room on the bathroom shelf to put an amenities it.

Moved room to a poolside view because of the problem with the noisey motorbikes that haunt Dago street

I would like to start with saying that the Bandung Holiday Inn is one of the best I have stayed in with the Holiday Inn chain. They have 2 towers and the new modern tower and its rooms are more like a Crowne Plaza standard than a typical holiday inn. The rooms in the older tower on the other hand are like the typical HI's. I had one of their Executive Suite's and it was much better than the pictures I had seen on the website. Rooms are quite, spacious, well lit, clean, come with all amenities including iDock, DVD player, Hi-Fi system, 3 TV's, universal power ports etc. The bathroom is the best feature in this room.. it is almost as big as the bedroom! nice large bathtub and a shower room for 2! 2 separate shower heads which if positioned in the right way gives you a blissful massage.. Airport pickup and drop off was included in my package and they use a good spacious and clean MPV. The fitness center was a very basic one, but does the job as it wasnt busy and has most of the common equipment. Location wise, it is walking distance to some of the popular "Factory Outlets" and also close to various restaurants, fast food options etc. It is just a 15-20 min drive to the beautiful Dago area where you have fantastic restaurants with romantic hill top settings and also a good Golf course..
