We decided to do a culinary day trip at Jalan Sumatra, Bandung and our first stop was Indischetafel for an early lunch. We were a big group of 7 adults and 1 kid and 1 baby. Since we were the first few customers on the day, the service was great. We ordered a mix of Indonesian and Dutch style of cuisines. We enjoyed most of the food. One of my sisters used to study and live in Rotterdam and she recommended us to try the Erwtensoep which was fairly yummy for a rainy day. Aside foods, what I really enjoyed was the whole concept of the restaurant, the place was set up with lots of antique pieces which made you feel that you were in the Dutch colonial time which was unique only in Indonesia. They also have few private rooms which was decorated with specific themes. Overall, it was a very enjoyable place with a good variety of foods.
