This is a beautiful place with excellent service and friendly employee. I'm so enjoy while staying here. This will be my first choice for my next trip to Bali. And will recommend my friends and family to visit there.

We went there for honeymoon, and we had a very excellent experiences with natural Balinese ambiance.

All the staffs were very warm taking care of us. More to personal touch in serving us during our stay there.

We love it so much our egg benedict for breakfast, it was very good.

I traveled last week to Ubud for a short holiday and stayed at this place...The staff were all-time cheerful and extremely polite. They took care of all small requests that we made and made sure they catered to us with all their knowledge.

I stayed in the Garden Villa and believe me, its something you just fall in love with at first sight. The room was designed to have an open-air shower, an open-air bath and a pool with a wonderful seating area. The sleep quality was extremely good as the location was extremely quiet and in fact, at night, you could even hear frogs croaking. It was like being in the middle of some well-designed woods.

I only had breakfast and tea on one occasion as most of my time was spent in town, but the service there was exceptional. At tea time, the good ladies there even teach you how to make the Balinese traditional offerings [the flower baskets] that they offer to gods.

If some peace and quiet is what you desire and also with easy connections to town, this location would pretty much be ideal. They have hourly connections to the market centre which are quite punctual.

Overall, a well executed arrangement.

Our ten days stay at this hotel was perfect from the welcome drink to our last lunch at the pool. We stayed at a garden pool villa, where total privacy is guaranteed.
The hotel is located just next to the buzzing city centre of Ubud. You can walk into the city in around 20 minutes, but you don't need to, as the hotel offers an hourly shuttle into the city from 9am to 10pm. It feels just wonderful returning to the hotel after sightseeing or shopping in Ubud or Bali in general as you return into a quiet paradise of green rice fields, total quietness and perfect service.
The kindness of the staff in this hotel is exemplary and your well-being will be the most important thing to them during your stay.
We can recommend this hotel for a short stay to relax but also for a longer stay with daily sightseeing trips to all corners of Bali with a private driver.
The food at the hotel is excellent, a little more expensive than in Ubud but taking into account the view, quietness and romantic setting fully justified.
We would like to thank all staff members for this wonderful stay.

My wife and I spent a week at Ubud Village Resort, staying in a Garden Pool Villa. Our holiday gave us everything we wanted, serenity and privacy in a beautiful location,

Staff - everyone was fantastic. Without exception, everyone was friendly, polite and helpful. From being welcomed, to our daily breakfast, the use of amenities and transport into Ubud, we could not have asked for more. There are too many staff to name them all, but Ketut, Putra (making us laugh at breakfast, and being very helpful), and Sadek are names I can recall.

The resort is serene. Surrounded by rice paddies and away from traffic noise, we got all the peace we desired. The grounds are beautiful, wandering between the resort's rooms and amenities was always a pleasure. The central pool is fantsatic, a wonderful place to relax. We used the gym, a morning workout was good.

Our Garden Pool Villa (room 213) - wow! So much space and privacy. Tumbling into the pool at a whim, solitude when reading, the setting is great. Loved the outdoor pavilions, great for relaxing out of the sun. If eating in the pavilion, better earlier than later at night; it's still the tropics and there's bound to be a mozzie lurking in the dark. King size bed - perfect. The multitude of showers and the bath were great - used them all. Air-con meant a cool room, to balance the warmth around the pool. Pool's a good depth, spot on for perfect frequent dips. And the villa is so light and private, a really beautiful and private place to spend the days.

In-house food - The complimentary breakfast hits the spot. Lost of choice, and we liked them all. Especially partial to the Nasi Goreng and the omlettes. Fresh juice, breads, tropical fruits - good start to the day. And the breakfast staff are just so helpful. Meals brought to our villa were all very good.

Location - great spot. Quiet, set back from the road. Easy walking distance into Ubud, although the usual Bali tricks with missing footpath sections or no footpath are encountered - simply requires vigilance and common sense. It possible to take the western road to Ubud, and use the path that skirts the Monkey Forest - a nicer walk to/from Ubud. Lots of food stalls and all sorts of shops close by the resort; everything you need.

We wanted a peaceful and relaxing holiday at a reasonable price - hard to image it could have been better.

Room Tip: Garden Room Villa - great for privacy

We very much enjoyed our time at The Ubud Village Resort. We stayed in a garden villa looking towards the main pool and still maintained a great deal of privacy.

The villa itself was stunning with a comfortably sized pool and a spacious outdoor area. We never wanted to leave as it was so beautiful.

The staff were lovely and very attentive. Breakfast and afternoon tea were fantastic with a beautiful view over the rice paddies, the only flaw was the substandard weak excuse they served for coffee, it was flavored water; any coffee lover will struggle with this!

The resort is located about 2km out of Ubud, there are a couple of restaurants nearby, however getting to them can be difficult on foot due to absence of footpaths and the chaotic traffic, although you wouldn't know this once you set inside the tranquility of the resort. There is a free shuttle bus hourly into town, which stopped at 10pm. Anything outside the shuttle bus schedule the hotel will arrange a car for a premium price!

It was a great one day escape from busy place in Legian, surrounded by the ricefields and its indigineous balinese style. Love every minute from the arrival till we departed from the resort. We will definitely recommend friends

Room Tip: villa facing to the ricefiles will be great
