My wife and I decided to spend our honeymoon between Bali and Singapore and I wanted to start it in style, a few nights in a super luxurious hotel. After a long and detailed search on the internet the Viceroy Bali was the best choice. And now I can say it was absolutely the right choice.

The honeymoon package they provide is quite amazing, we’ve got free breakfast, warm flower bath on arrival, 2 hour SPA treatment for each one of us plus 20% off further treatments, a candle-lit romantic dinner, a brilliant honeymoon cake, a choice of cycling or trekking trip, return airport transfer. And because we stayed for 7 nights we only paid for 6!

As soon as we got off the plane we were met by one of the hotel staff who sorted out the visas for us and helped with customs and introduced us to our personal driver for the trip to the hotel. The driver was very helpful and knowledgeable. As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were given cold refreshing towels and flowers.

The villa’s are just awesome. Very luxurious but yet simple and airy with complete privacy. The view is impressive. We stayed in a pool villa and from your bed you can see the forest and rice paddies on the other side of the river. The resort is surrounded by green rainforest and rice paddies and from the pool you overlook the valley. The service is top notch. They drive you and pick you up from your villa by a golf cart whenever you want. The staff greets you with your name. The service is very personal and warm. The hotel staff went way beyond their duties to satisfy and meet our requirements and demands.

Staying in The Viceroy will guarantee you a luxurious stay that you will not get anywhere else. We truly loved our stay there and we sure recommend it for any couple who are looking for the honeymoon of there dreams. We will go back there for our anniversary one day!

My husband and I just return fom Bali where we spent 6 nights at the Rtiz Carlton (see review) then 6 nights at The Viceroy. We got a great deal on Luxury Link and our expectations were exceeded. The viilas are fabulous and the service is top notch - the owner (an Australian orginally from Austria) and his son (the General Manager) have a very visible presence and are extremely willing to make your visit special. Their Restaurant (CasCade) is well known through out Bali and guests sometimes arrive by helicopter. The food is first class on an international level. The croissants at breakfast could not have been better if they'd been flown in from France.

The Viceroy Hotel in Ubud is unbelievable. We stayed in a Terrace Villa with our own infinity pool that looked across a beautiful valley. Although it wasn't our honeymoon, we felt like it was! The room (massive), service, food, staff, atmosphere were all wonderful.

We stayed here because of a positive review we read on this site. The reviewing couple was right. If you are looking for a romantic hotel where you will enjoy absolute privacy and the very best of everything - this is the hotel.

My husband and I decided to start off our honeymoon in a luxury hotel. Our honeymoon was three weeks so we couldn't afford to stay at luxury hotels our entire trip. What a treat it was to stay at the Viceroy Bali for our four days!!! Let me start off by saying from the begining the hotel staff was so accomodating and helpful. When I first saw the price of the rooms I was dissapointed because it really wasn't in our budget. I thanked the hotel for all their information and was surprised when they emailed me back and told me they would offer me the room for half price since it was our honeymoon! That's not all we also got free breakfast, free cocktails every night at the bar, 40% off any spa treatment to go along with our free THREE hour couple treatment when we arrived!
From the moment we stepped foot on Balinese soil we were treated like royalty. A staff member met us as soon as we got off the plane and took care of all of our immigration paperwork, collected our bags and took us to meet our personal driver to take us to the hotel. The hotel car was extremely nice as was our driver Madi. Ask for him if you go here. He drove us anywhere we wanted to go the entire time! He is a great source for restaurant recomendations as well as places to shop.
We arrived at the hotel and were given fresh flower lays, a cold drink and an ice cold towel. A golf cart will take you to your personal villa of paradise. We stayed in the terrace villa which we loved. You can't even imagine how detailed everything is. right down to orchids in your washcloths! this hotel has the most caring and polite staff of any hotel i have ever stayed at and I have been to many around the world. They are catering to your every need before you can even ask. Everyone who works there will call you by name and will know your whole schedule while you are at the hotel. When we left for our tours the hotel always arranged for our room to be set up while we were away or if you are at dinner they turn down your bed, etc. You never need to leave a do not disturb sign or let them know you'd like your room cleaned....everything is taken care of without a second thought to you. Nothing is too great of a request for the staff. They truly love to serve their guests. The hotel is family run and the owner is constantly inquiring about his guests. We even had breakfast with him every morning. The hotel is spotless and there are only eleven villas so you really feel like you are in your own world. i can't say enough good things about the Viceroy. We stayed in the least expensive room and it was gorgeous. we had our own private pool and terrace overlooking the valley and rice terraces. The maids let us take a peak at the other rooms and they were to die for. If you can afford to stay in the Viceroy Villa you will be happy you spent the money. You honestly feel like you are on a travel show while staying at this hotel. The food is to die for, the spa has world class treatments, the staff is the best....what else could you ask for? It is that incredible. Please stay there and bring tourism back to Ubud and to Bali. What a wonderful place to spend your vacation. You will not regret this decision to stay here. We spent the rest of the week in Nusa Dua at the Nikko Bali and we really wish we had stayed at the Viceroy the entire time. The Nikko was nice but it is so big and impersonal. If you are looking for an intimate place to get away for romance this is your place. Thank you Viceroy for a wonderful start to our honeymoon!!!
