“9 Nights in Natura - Sep 2013”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

The resort is clean, tidy, picture perfect and relaxing. The surrounding jungle was bliss and I was visited by monkeys and squirrels whilst I sat on my verandah. The bed, shower, tv, a/c, toilet, bath, hair dryer, safe etc were all perfect.
There were very few other people to be seen during my stay. The food was fine though very limited and expensive, as were the mini bar drinks.
There are quite a lot of large, steep stairs at the resort, so be prepared for that. Also be prepared to be hustled by the staff, on the hush hush of course to use their contacts for tours etc. this got very tiresome after several days.
Although twin beds were requested and booked, the room allocation was wrong and I ended up sharing a King bed.
Nothing else is within walking distance, you are reliant on the shuttle.

I had a pool villa for two nights and loved every second. The villa itself is just gorgeous with a big canopy bed with pillow top mattress and four big fluffy pillows - the best nights sleep I think I've ever had! A huge bathroom with indoor shower as well as outdoor bath and another shower outside. The plunge pool was quite cool when you first get in, so very refreshing, with a spectacular view across the river valley. You couldn't see the river, but could definitely hear it, and of an afternoon I would watch the monkeys heading home through the trees on the other side of the valley from the comfort of my day bed. Life's tough!

Breakfast was fantastic, as well as the free afternoon tea. I also ate dinner at the restaurant both nights and couldn't fault the meals for flavour. A little pricier than you can get elsewhere but I expected to pay more for the convenience.

They run a shuttle to and from Ubud every hour or two each day - they give you a card with the schedule printed on it.

But I just enjoyed relaxing with a good book and the fantastic surroundings for a couple of days.

Amazing rooms in Balinese style with open-air bathtub and maxi showers, jungle all around, a bit of luxury with swimming pool overlooking the forest and the spa. And a watermelon juice that I still dream about him... Perfect resort that I recommend heartily. Ubud is 5-10 minutes away, easily reached by rent a scooter or with the free shuttle service provided by the hotel

We finished our trip to Bali by spending 2 nights in this resort. I can understand some criticisms regarding some renovation works needed to be done in the rooms ( mainly paintings), but this should absolutely not stopped anyone from spending few days in this resort. This is a kind of magic place with 2 absolute amazing pools built in the jungle (we could saw monkeys from the lap pool) and good Spa just near to the river. Rooms are confortable, well equipped. Restaurant is just ok, but it´s easy to get out with the shuttle.

We had our honeymoon in Bali and our first stop in Bali was Natura Resort & Spa and we stayed there for 3 nights. Our experience was superb and the staff was excellent. Plus, the spa service was a unique experience. You have to walk down the 150 steps of stairs but the walk was definitely worth it. The room was near the waterfall and you can hear the water running while you're treated with the Balinese massage. We live in Singapore and for me to be close to nature was a relaxing and wonderful experience. I recommend anyone who's going Ubud to stay in Natura.

My husband and I,along with another couple stayed here for 3 nights early in august. The most beautiful setting, rooms were lovely and clean with a beautiful, peaceful outlook. The staff were not intrusive but very attentive and friendly, every request we made was accomodated:from a request for a driver for a day, to looking after our luggage even after we had checked out. The main pool was a magic spot to relax and the day spa is a absolute must, the therapists are terrific and the location beside the river was just amazing!Breakfast was good, but the evening meal, while catering to western tastes, missed the mark.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely! But I'd eat elsewhere

Stayed 3 nights in August and enjoyed the Hotel well enough. Liked the location, the rooms, the two pools, and the spa. The restaurant was very good in the morning with a plenty full breakfast, but rather limited at night.

Our main complain is the very limited lights provided inside the rooms, at the restaurant and worst of all, along the walkways and stairs. It is just too dangerous to go up and down, not seeing where you step. Inside the rooms, it is simply impossible to read at night or to use the thermostat controls, for that matter. They really need to change all the light bulbs with much more powerful ones. Their operating cost could not be much higher, but it will be much safer for everyone.
