Plenty of duck (Bebek) restaurants in Ubud but this one is very good. It's located in the end of an alley and you have to go through an uninviting entrance but it's worth it. It's a spacious place and run by a local family. Their specialty is of course the duck which can be served fried or roasted. You can choose between 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or a complete duck. My gf and I choose the complete duck (enough for two). The prices are really low despite the fact you are in the very heart of Ubud and amid fancy resorts. For a full duck we payed 80.000 Rp if I remember correctly, that's cheap! The Nasi Goren was the most delicious I've ever eaten in Indonesia (and I've eaten it a lot on Java and Bali), the fruit juice very delicious and large. The service was quite good but not special (but does it always have to be special?) and we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing dinner there. Even at some point we were the last guests and it was clear they wanted to close they didn't push us in any way to leave, even though we had already finished our dinner. This is not very common in Indonesia! All in all we enjoyed it here and I would definitely come back here one day.
