“Comfortable, serene, simple cafe, away from all the hustle-bustle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2014

So far I've yet to try the Blossom Cafe at Jln Dewi Sita, but its sister cafe, Cherry Cafe is one of the most charming cafes i've been to in Ubud, perhaps the whole island of Bali. The foods and beverages are delicious, super friendly staffs, prices are reasonable. The cafe exudes a certain kind of warmth, very cozy, no distractions, I feel at home. Can easily spent an afternoon there, catching up on some reading or online works.

“best experience in Ubud :-) ask for cooking corses!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2013

ginger soda speciality... that was the starter, and we ended with an amazing macrobiotic cooking course, which was lead just for me by the owner Kuniko Tominaga. Beautifully open heart Japanese woman with a taste of gourmet healthy simple but in the same time so rich food and drinks. And as she her all staff is very nice and friendly! I'm like a food-therapist and gastro-psychologist can recommend this place!

“A great addition to the thriving Ubud café scene”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Kuniko Tominaga has started Cherry Blossom as a sister café to her Blossom Café only 20 metres away. It's been going only a month now and is getting known firstly by those folks who know Taksu down the road, famous for its spas and massage, and a very reasonable restaurant. You might easily miss it in the frenzy which is Goutama St. and its intersection with a café studded road connecting with Monkey Forest Road. She's experimenting with the island's flour so in addition to bagels, she is baking potato and cheese buns and other favourites Japan is known for, but the tourist and expat community will surely appreciate. Her husband does guess what ? Runs a café in Japan ! The challenges are many in developing Indonesia, but she is meticulous on cleanliness, and that's saying something in Bali. Folks familiar with the rural trendy areas of Japan will immediately gel.

“Refreshing, clean, unique and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

This unassuming little cafe has fantastic espresso and delicious steamed Japanese bread. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, it is clean and the decore is lovely. They make freshly steamed Japanese bread daily filled with sweat beans, savoury toppings or pumpkin buns. Located in a quite street just off Jalan Dewi Sita, the street that runs between Jl Monkey Forest and Hannoman near the soccer field. It is worth looking for, maybe the best espresso in Ubud (and I have tried a lot).

“Japanese vegetarian cafe - completely darling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

If you like simple (but delicious) Japanese vegetarian dishes, this is brilliant. Love the refreshing cafe counter-dining style. Raw green tea ice cream, pasta with soy "cream sauce," fresh veg risotto, etc. all excellent in a fresh atmosphere.

Love this place!
