“Relatively new International resto with good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

On Monkey Forest Road along with many other eating establishments, Green Leaf is clean and cheerful with low prices and the time of writing a free dessert, a creme brulee, all dishes served were fresh and of good proportion. Worth a visit if you are watching your spending and still insist on good food!

“Good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

The service was friendly and professional. I liked the decor of the restaurant and its good location, not far from the monkey forest. Food was fresh and tasty - my dad also had the chicken pie mentioned in another review and thoroughly enjoyed it.

It hasn't been open long, but I am sure it has a strong future.

“Food Was Terrible”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

Food was terrible. I had two Balinese on separate visits, and both dishes were very ordinary. The prawn crackers are pre-cooked and stored, so when you get them, they are like rocks. Both Bali dishes looked also to have pre-cooked elements in them. The salad pieces are unripened and poorly presented. There's not much love being shown here...

“New Place in Ubud -”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

We visited Ubud March 2013 and Green Leaf was only a couple of months old. So its the new kid on the block. The decor was excellent, the waitresses and great outfits, the food was excellent and resonable. They also had music, the 2 nights we stopped in they had excellent singer who also played the guitar.
Its location is on Monkey Forest Road across from Dian's Restaurant and just down from Cinta's. The manager of Green Leaf stopped by our table and asked how long we were going to be in Ubud, where we were from, how was the food, thanked us for stopping in and when we left he gave us his card for a free dessert on our next visit. Nice touch. There are a huge number of restaurants in Ubud especially right on Monkey Forest Road, some make it and some don't. We all have favorites but its nice stopping at a new place once in awhile. We stayed 5 nights in Ubud and stopped twice at the Green Leaf.
