Unless you have no choice. We went cos it was just next to the hotel we stayed.
Upon entering I found it not attractive in ambience as I have been to many spa in Bali.
This look like a very local spa.
First, we were not greeted by the usual spa aroma.
Second, the receptionist was very arrogant. They were not the polite spa people we see whenever we visit a spa in bali.
We decided on different massages. I had floral bath which had massage, scrub and bath.
It cost 150, 000 rupiah which was ok. My firend took a shoulder and foot massage.
The masseur did not have enough strength even though she said she worked there 14 years?
Pardon me as I had massages before so I could tell the difference. After that it was the scrub..again it was just pasting stuff on you and they put very little of whatever it was supposed to be. I believe cutting down on cost. Next, it was the bath..you are asked to just take a bath in the tub with flowers...and that was my disappointing spa experience in Ubud.;(
I did not go back again the next day. As Ubud is well known for spa, this one is really poor compared to the ones we have visited.
The towel is also old and worn out. The sarong..they call sarong was a tiny cloth...sigh...
The spa therapists were chitchatting away and was not professional.
I wish they will do a revamp.
Just disappointed overall. I usually leave a good tip for the masseur but this time I don't think it was worth it.
