“Great organic Balinese food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

We walked past and spotted an ad for cooking class, booked it and stayed for dinner. Restaurant advertises as vegetarian fare-but turned out they also cater to carnivores like us when we asked for recommendation of local food around. Delicious simple food, bright flavors and excellent fresh creative juices (Popeyes and Cucapple are the ones we tried, will be recreating at home). Ordered an appetizer from specials' desk and it was the highlight of dinner, melt-in-your-mouth potato fritters. Friendly and knowledgable staff, but beware if you're too hungry-like everywhere in Bali service is taking its time:)

“Excellent cooking class and cheaper than most - be sure to try it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

We did a cookery class today - the two staff who were teaching us were really patient and did everything they could to teach us as much as possible about Balinese ingredients, herbs and spices. The menu was really good and taught us a great deal about the principles of Balinese cooking - we feel really confident about doing it ourselves when we get home - and I'm even more confident about us eating it ourselves!

The classes have a maximum number of 6, which is much smaller than other classes, and there were only two of us today - so we were really lucky - thank you to all the staff involved!
