One of the must places to go in Ubud. I usually book a reservation a day ahead. Amier is a dear and sweet and such a character. Fun to see him turn people away too. ;)
The reservation thing came about because other people are complaining it is taking so long. Amier is a one man show. He does EVERYTHING. People are made to understand this so I dont know why the complaints? Good food, like wine, takes time. ;)
As for some of the people complaining about being hurried, the only time I saw this happened was when Amier accommodated a request of a customer who did not have a reservation. She was told tho that the table is reserved for 6pm (there are only 2 tables here). And of course when the hour was near, she felt she was being shown the door. Oh boy.
So now it is strictly for reservations. But it is worth it. The food is really good and good value for money. Try everything!
