Ate twice in this restaurant during our stay. They serve excellent Nasi Campur as well as Nasi Goreng.
They're Nasi Campur came with a good size of tuna, a stick of Chicken Sate and some tofu side. The dish was quite tasty and I love that you can taste all the different spices, evidences that it was properly cooked. The second time I tried their Nasi Goreng, which came with a good size piece of Fried Chicken (this is the real thing as some places mean "sauteed" when they indicated "fried" in their menu - lesson learned). The rice was tasty and very authentic.
My friend ordered the fish with rich, which he mentioned was also excellent. Overall, with the varieties that our group ordered, no one had complaints. And we even decided to go back within 2 days time, after a bad choice of restaurant in between.
The price was also very affordable. There are quite a number of warungs that serve the same food at higher prices, and not even so good.
The ambiance of the place is also good, although the first time we went, we felt it was a bit abandoned. Just a few other people aside from our big group. The second time was a Sunday, so we did see more people, and a lot of tourists too. In fact, it was packed around 8pm when we left.
They also have a few tables that are elevated where you can sit on the floor. The ambiance is actually quite romantic there ;-)
The location is a bit on the inside, just walk in through a small private alley off Monkey Forest Road. They also have a bungalow behind where you can stay. We were booked a different place though so we weren't to see it.
The staff were actually very friendly, the service a bit slow, seems they are understaffed..
