My wife and I went to Melting Wok at 9pm after the Legong dance, which we had to leave early because we were informed that the kitchen closes at 9:30.
It's a small restaurant run by a very nice French lady, with her husband from Laos cooking. They have the menu written on a blackboard, they have a fixed menu consisting of 2 items (chicken curry with rice and chicken curry with noodles), and another small menu for the specialties of the day.
We ordered a Thai salad and a chicken curry with noodles and coconut milk, and 2 drinks. The food was really tasty and very well spiced. The lady owner made some chat with us from time to time, she creates a very nice ambiance with her staff.
We had a creme caramel and coffee for dessert, also excellent. We ended up paying around $16 as far as I remember!
Just make sure to reserve before going for dinner.
