“Wonderful relaxing place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2012

Booked this hotel from a deals direct offer nearly a year ago. Was enticed by the price and did no real homework on the location or hotel itself.
What a find!,!! Wonderful driver picked up at airport, longish drive to hotel ( 2 hrs), but wow, what a lovely hotel. Staff were amazing and couldn't be more friendly, helpful or welcoming. Drivers were all, without exception, polite, friendly with reasonable English. We hired a driver for a whole day, and what a great day he gave us. His name was Putu, and very knowledgeable, fun and we gained a friend. Highly recommend him. Room was great, plunge pool perfect, it is a plunge pool after all, not a swimming pool, but perfect to cool down on a hot day. Very private as well. No Mosquitos at all, which surprised us. Restaurant food very nice, well priced, very tasty. We dined there twice, and very happy with the service and quality.
Shuttle service handy, but we paid $5 au most times for a taxi into ubud.
Only things we thought needed attention, but didn't rate as a negative at all were;
Towels and washcloths a little worn. Surprising as hotel not so old.
Tissues in restaurant instead of serviettes.
Electric jug took 20 mins+ to boil
Iron available but no ironing board.

On the whole the whole a great quiet place. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Room Tip: All seemed private and quiet. We had 111 which is close to front, very quiet.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. It is the perfect end to our holiday. It is a little out of the way but they provide a shuttle bus to go into ubud should you require it They also organise tours for you. For us it is a time to relax without the hustle of the main shopping area in Kuta. The surroundings are very pleasant and tranquil. You have your own private villa with plunge pool. It is your choice if you wish to use the main pool.Perfect for honeymoooners not wanting to be disturbed. Staff are very friendly and the service is good. We will be back next year.

Room Tip: All rooms are very good. You can have a family room or if travelling with friends you can share ajoi...

I booked a deal online with Bali Rich Villas in Ubud for 3 nights.

The day before we left, I got an email saying a water pipe had burst and that we would be staying elsewhere for our first night.

I was a little disappointed, as I was looking forward to our villa, but the hotel room we stayed in for our first night was spectacular. The view out over Ubud was breathtaking and I think we had the entire hotel to ourselves. When we checked into Bali Rich Villa Ubud the next day we were also impressed. The only criticism would be that the pool in the villa was quite small and situated in a corner where it didn't get much sun. But it was fine as we spent our time in the communal pool, which we had to ourselves the whole time anyway.

The villa was clean and tidy and the bathroom was so tasteful with a nice big spa.

The day spa here was top notch and they upgraded our half hour massages (as part of the online deal) to one hour each, to make up for the burst water pipe issue. (best massage ever!)

There was only about 16 villas, so it felt very intimate - which we loved. The staff were very friendly and always happy to assist. We loved it here and would be happy to recommend to others.

We were on our honeymoon and had such an amazing time here, staying 5 nights. The villa was so spacious, clean and beautiful. All the staff were always so helpful and friendly! We really enjoyed our massage and treatment at the spa and the main pool was an awesome spot to relax and chill during the warm days. The transfers were so flexible, picking us up from Sanur and then dropping us back to their sister villas in Seminyak. As we weren't flying out until midnight, the villa in Seminyak offered us a shower room before taking us to the airport. We were so grateful for beign able to freshen up before our flight home. We definately will be staying here again on our next trip back to Ubud. Leah & Pete

Thank you for helping us to have a lovely stay during september 2012.
We purchased our stay on an online deal but we were treated as if we paid the full amount.
The staff were really lovely, location great. our villa was wonderful. adored sleeping on the king size bed under the mosquito netting - so romantic.
We appreciated the flexibility of having breakfast in our villa or restaurant or down under the gazebo.
The spa was fabulous and we tried to take advantage as much as we could. I have an injured arm and the spa ladies were so careful and respectful.
Thank you for being flexibile in picking us up on our first day and dropping us off Kuta on our last day.
We enjoyed taking part of the activities that were included, they were flexible and fitted around our arrangements.
Thank you to Wayan who looked after us through our stay.
There is one suggestion that we would like to make please. To have actual serviettes/napkins to use at the restaurant. Surprisingly this is the only negative my husband felt as tissues dont work the same as a serviette.
Bit disappointed our gorgeous plunge pool was so cold though. Too cold for me to enjoy it.
But if that is all we could say was negative, I dont think they are doing too bad.
Thanks again for helping make our recuperation holiday so special.

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The villa was large and equiped with everything we needed, the private pool was great for the privacy. The food was great and well priced, the staff were so helpful and friendly. the views as you eat your meal are so breath taking and relaxing or they bring it into your room on request.
Wonderful and would recommend for any one wanting a romantic, relaxing getaway.

We stayed for 3 nights at Bali Rich Villa's in Ubud and were really pleased with the lovely, well equipped 1 bedroom villa. The bedroom and bathroom were luxurious and well appointed. Everything very well thought out. The property is charming, lovely manicured gardens, with a wonderful view from the restaurant.

The food was delicious (and we love fine dining), so we ate in the restaurant every night.

The staff were lovely, efficient and welcoming.
We would definitely recommend this hotel.
I also had one of the best massages I have ever had at the spa.

Thank you Nyoman, the GM for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: The two bedroom villa's have a bigger plunge pool.
