“Worth a visit.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

The restaurant was in a lovely setting and the food was above average, other than the brownies which were a great disappointment. We had booked for the dancing as well but once we realised that you could not watch from your table, we cancelled this part and decided that we would go later in our trip to the Laka Leke where you don't pay extra and can watch while you eat. We are glad we went but this is not one of the restaurants that we will be going to twice on our trip..

“Beautiful restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

An amazingly beautiful restaurant in a padi field setting. We were fortunate to be seated at the VIP hut surrounded by emerald green padi. "Bebek Tepi Sawah" translates as "Duck by the Padi Field". The Crispy Duck dish was quite delicious and so were the other dishes we sampled. service was also good. The pricing of dishes was surprisingly reasonable. A unique dining experience in a natural setting.

“Great restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

In my first trip to Bali, my family took a stop here for lunch and loved it. We returned again on our day trip in Ubud for lunch. I love how the whole restaurant looks over the rice paddy and makes a very calm and peaceful atmosphere. While waiting for drinks to come, have someone wait at the table while you go and take some pictures out on the paddy. This is the place to have duck, I personally enjoy the smoked duck because of the small spice it has. Staff is very quick and polite. This is my favorite place to eat Indonesian food in Bali and I would highly recommend this if you're in the Ubud area.

“Good food in a peaceful outdoor setting.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2013

This restaurant specialises in duck dishes and is situated in the rice fields. The food was delicious and we invited our guide and driver to join us. They were very happy because they said they could never afford to eat there themselves but, at just over £40 for the four of us, we found it comparatively inexpensive compared with similar standards of cuisine in London.
