“Secluded, nice and friendly”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

First stay at Amori and we love it. It's like home for us.

If you were driving by yourself, please asked the management to provide you with GPS coordinate or look at their map in their website. It's located in a remote area, but it's perfect for a retreat. Quite and beautiful view. Our room at Villa #5 was next to the river. You could hear clearly the sound of rushing river.

The villa has 3 rooms. A living room with an LCD TV, DVD player, ipod speaker, cable tv and a sofa bed. A bed with double bed. A huge bathroom with two shower and a bathtub.

They provided a clean and crispy white bedsheets. Wonderful toiletries (like the jasmine fragrance).

Our kid loved their edgeless swimming pool and jacuzzi. They could provide you a cooking lesson too for your kid.

The price of their minibar and laundry were very reasonable.

We loved their breakfast at the main building. They served and treated us very well.

You could have a message by the pool for Rp 135 k ++ per hour.

Denny and his staffs were very friendly and helpful.

You must ask them to arrange a bike tour from Mt. Batur. It's downhill ride for about 25 km. It's fun and fantastic.

Cannot wait to arrange another trip to Amori for longer stay.

We arrived late at night, and was stunned by the spectacular view when we woke up the next day. Breakfast was lovingly made in the open kitchen next to our table and it was a joy to see how the staff painstakingly prepare each dishes. We had our best dinner in Bali at Amori too. I suspect the secret to the Amori magic is the staff. It seems that most of the staff stays at the village next door, and treat the hotel like their own family business. When we venture outside and walk around, all the villagers smiled and waved at us. There's pride in their work and you can feel it. A big "Thank You" to everyone at Amori. We will be back!

Room Tip: The treehouse villa is worth the extra cost, fantastic view of the valley, and open air shower.

Our first visit to Bali was a very special experience. Travel Agent Kathy's advice to try Villa Amori was an inspired suggestion. From the time we were picked up at the airport by a smiling Ketut to a week later when we left, we basked in pampered luxury. Our Forest View villa, which is one of only five, with the sound of a rushing river below, was so comfortable, spacious and well appointed that we were reluctant to leave it and go out and explore fascinating Ubud and its surrounds. The staff were always attentive and anxious to please. We can't recommend Villa Amori highly enough as a destination for pampered relaxation. Thank you Rick and Peta and staff.

Congratulations to Peta and Rick and their lovely staff for creating a serene and relaxing escape from the chaos of UBUD and the rest of Bali. The rooms are fabulous especially the bathrooms. The staff are gentle and wonderful from the moment you arrive. Close enough to Ubud and they provide transfer and organise great bike rides from Mt Batur. Good luck to them and we'll try and get back asap.

My husband and I have come to love Amori and the people that make the Amori experience so unique. We first visited two years ago and have just returned home after our second visit. There is something very special about this beautiful place and the wonderful owners Peta and Rick and their fabulous staff. I know we will return again one day and thank the Amori family for making our time there so memorable, you all have a special place in our hearts!

This villa is magic from the welcome drink , the pool, the villa, the valley, the foggy mornings, the thunder at night, the stars, the green, we totally relaxed we loved it. It felt like home. I cannot say enough about the staff, they are beautiful always smiling always helpful. You will never regret your stay here. We had a special dinner one night during our stay , they had fresh flowers on the table candles around the pool area soft music playing, it felt like another world. We were lucky to be the only guest staying at the time we booked and were treated like kings. We felt humbled by the caring attention we received throughout our stay. Peta and Rick you have a beautiful place, we are green with envy.. your staff are just gorgeous. Thank you so much.We will be back.

Room Tip: The valley view is beautiful

How lucky am I ? I have come to ubud three times already this year and its only April. Each time I get advice where to stay, but I think I have listened enough, Amori is like coming home. Peta and Rick you must be so proud, what a setting, your staff are a treasure and that pool. Now that's a pool. Thank you for you and your staffs hospitality and that little bit amori of heaven.

Room Tip: There is no bad ones.
