“Awesome menu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

Really liked it. Went a few times. Coffee, cider, juice/smoothees, wifi, huge menu, friendly staff, environmentally aware. They did the menu for the yoga barn down the road, which is also really nice.

“Don't know what all the fuss is about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

The food is not bad but nothing special. The portions are small and overpriced. I've given it a couple of tries but was never satisfied. Breakfast is the only thing I've found reasonable enough here that may bring me back.

“Interesting cafe in Ubud”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014 via mobile

There patrons seem to be the Yoga crowd and the menu verges on the healthy.

We at some very nice cakes here and had a couple of healthy non-dairy smoothies, and 2 of the dairy variety one was a hazelnut iced coffee (it's calked something else on the menu) and one was a spivey banana smoothy. It was all very delicious and wholesome.

A little pricey for Indonesia but worth it.

“Good old Kafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

I've tried so many new breakfast places in Ubud over the past five years and one that never disappoints me is still good old Kafe. Come to think of it, I can't remember having a bad meal there. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, delivery - all healthy, wholesome, hearty food that nourishes the soul. Make sure to try the daily specials. This morning I ordered the Pesto and Parmesan Scramble and it looked and tasted just like the last time I had it - simply delicious. Service is some of the best in Ubud, especially the "veteran" staff. We also ordered the Bubur Ayam, one of Indonesia's favourite breakfasts. It has organic brown rice, glass noodles, eggs, veggies in a homemade chicken broth. Their coffee is always good. My favourite is Cocoa Nut Latte but I'm going off caffeine this week, so I ordered the next best thing: hot lemongrass pandan ginger honey tea. It comes in a generous mug. Kafe is also best for eavesdropping on Ubud's constant invasion of the EPL-ers
