“united with nature”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

old hotel but had already renovated. Stayed in deluxe room behind lobby. stayed with family, wife and 4 yo daughter, breakfast always perfect as prepared at my balcon room. cant wait to stay there. My favorite staff was Nyoman who always took care all my stuff. Cool dan clean swimming pool. and no limit towels for use (hahahah). Next to hotel was rice terraces which was full of green color everywhere. Hotel was just centered to restos, cafes, shops for every supply. Ehmmm and also just steps to blanco museum.

Room Tip: ask Mr Nyoman for best view or choose the nearest to swimming pool

This is a nice hotet with a good location about 5 min in taxi from Ubud center. Staff is helpfull and smiling. Close by you can walk in the ricefields. Food is VERY good and also cheap. Beatiful garden and pool area. Would come back. Stayed for 3 nights.

We were upgraded from Deluxe to Premium (one whole 3rd floor with separate bathroom and open lounge) at no cost!

Location: behind Blanco Museum. Not far away to walk into town. Maybe 15-20 mins.

WiFi: Really poor, need to upgrade. Very very slow and sometimes cant even reach over at apartment.

Welcoming drink: i called the drink Balinese Mojito - tea with lime leaves and lemangrass. I like this drink.

Breakfast: 3 different kinds, but limited for Indonesian cuisine. It is NOT buffet! I have tried fried rice for day one and rice porridge on day two. Really flat!

Lunch: We did not have any.

Dinner: Had dinner one time. Had crispy duck, very tasty. I like the sauces. But, please allow time for the kitchen to prepare your food and do expect up to 30 mins.

Swimming pool: refreshing!

Garden: very green and staffs have been taking a good care.

Room:
- BIG
- Airconditioned
- flat TV, but is like 6 meters from bed. No news channel though.
- bath-tub with bubble bath/jacuzi
- rain shower and etc etc...
- dining table
- kitchen, utensil and wares
- sofas facing the garden

Staffs:
Really friendly and helpful! I really am sorry that I forgot to leave tips, as i was settling the bills for dinner during check-out, my luggage and important bags are being taken into the hired-car and had to rush to make sure my paintings and wooden sculpture are allright.

Summary: we like it here, we wish to stay longer, unfortunately had other commitments.

Thoroughly enjoyed this little gem, so clean, peaceful and relaxing.Could not fault it. Just a leisurely walk to town, only the sounds of birds - no traffic noise or noise from other travellers.Rooms are so clean, indoor/outdoor bathroom was fantastic.Meals were very good, gardens and pool really well-maintained.The staff are lovely and the experience just so different to Kuta/Legian area. Each person I spoke to said it was the best accomodation they had stayed at in Bali. For the price we paid for our deluxe room, it was a bargain, I have visited Bali more than 30 times and usually paid a fair bit more for a lesser experience.Looking forward to my next stay!

Room Tip: We stayed in downstairs, deluxe cottage no. 15 which was great, no noise at all. Also checked out no...

I stayed in the suite for a few days last week.it was my 5 trip to Ubud in a year and this place is a gem.Great place and staff. It is close enough to the town but gives you the peaceful atmosphere. The room was new ,clean and beautiful.Love very minute of my stay here.Swan at reception was available to solve any issues with a smile. The breakfast was nice and had dinner there as well. Great chief inhouse.looking forward to my next stay there soon.

Room Tip: Suite Rooms are worth it

We just love this place for so many reasons, great rooms, beautiful gardens and pool, the wonderful balinese service and super friendly nice staff. Every day the rooms are made so fresh and we LOVE the different towel shapes each day..attention to detail at its best for sure.
Also in a great location with an amazing restaurant - breakfast IS the best and the afternoon tea treats are a lovely touch. The suites are the best so make sure you ask for those rooms and enjoy the views,

I'm still here in my suite for a second night in at Sri Ratih cottages and really glad i booked after reading the reviews on here about the suites and duplexes.

The staff are lovely, they will take care of you in the wonderful Balinese way. I love many things here, the lack of throngs of crowds or stray dogs, the cleanliness of the rooms, the bathrooms that are expansive and beautiful and the free breakfast.

I can't comment on the super cheap rooms, but really for under 70,000 idr a night to get a deluxe room like this is awesome. My only faults are all minor, i would welcome a little info book in the room rather than having to bug reception. And there are no clocks in the room, but these ate trivial for what you do get.

I've had three meals here, breakfast is best especially the banana pandan rolls. Not a fan of the black pudding but glad to see a wide variety of western and Indonesian cuisine. It's cheap, nice food. Outside the immediate area is a little chocolaterie 'Kue', can thoroughly recommend their high tea.

Wifi is good, very reliable even in my room which is not closest to reception. And no mozzies!

Definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't mind being away from the main streets of ubud. Great room, good staff and exceptional value.
