The Gangsa is tucked away in a quiet back alley in Sanur, which is about 25 mins ride from Ngurah Rai Airport. There are a total of 11 Villas, of one to three bedrooms all named after musical instrutment. I was told that they are part of the Kayumanis Group.

Facilities in the hotel are one restaurant, a Spa and Children playroom, complimentary wireless access, shuttle to sanur area and Kuta( Kuta only 11am, 3pm & 6 pm). No main pool in hotel.
Walkway leading to each villa are designed like a garden path which is quite nice for a evening stroll.

Each villa is housed within a walled compound with a main entrance that resemble those of a temple. Each villa is a 2 storey build with a bedroom below and a study room above. In addition, there is a kitchen, dinning and living area, pool with deck chair, bathroom with outdoor rain shower(not visible from 2nd floor of neighbouring villa) and bathtub. The study room on the second floor can be converted to a spa room if you request to have your massage in villa

In the kitchen there is a fridge, microwave, cooker; in the living area there is a TV and a CD/DVD player where you can enjoy your own music while gazing star in the pool.
The one bedroom villa's pool is about 9m by 5m which has water jet like those in a jacuzzi tub. All non-alcoholic drink in mini bar are free and replenish everyday. They also provide daily complimentary afternoon tea with Balinese cake.

As it is not beside the beach or on a hill there are no view at all. What you see are trees and trees. Not a bad idea if you are looking for some privacy which the trees amply provide. Birds and squirrel are a common sight over here.

Food are good and massage are simple. All reasonably priced for a hotel standard.

The most amazing thing about staying here is how the hotel staff make you feel that you are in your own home. They greet you by your name and will go all their way to make you feel at home. They are always sincere and warm, we have never feel that they are working for the tips.
Most of all, their housekeeping are superb. Our villa are always clean and tidy everytime we came back from outside. They even clean up the villa when we went for a 30 mins afternoon tea in their restaurant.


Overall we totally enjoy our stay here and will come back again.
