“Lovely place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

Spent a week at this hotel and it was very enjoyable and relaxing. It doesn't look very nice as you arrive, but once you walk through the lobby and past recpetion, you forget about the renovation that is going on. you can't even hear any noise.
The family villa is very large with a great big bathroom in the master room. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily and any complaints you may have are dealt with very professionally. The rooms come with a kettle, tea and coffee, so you can have tea/coffee whenever you please. The breakfast menu has a good variety, with american, English, continental, Indonesian, Japanese options. The staff are very accommodating and are always trying to make your stay a comfortable one. The pool is great, very peaceful and relaxing. Most days, we had the pool to ourselves, Also, made use of the onsite spa which was very good. If you stay for a week or longer, you get 20% discount at the spa, free afternoon tea on a day that suits you, and a free drop-off to sanur centre.
the location of the hotel is good. only about a 5minute walk to the beach and the supermarket is about 2 minutes walk. However, it is quite a far walk from all the shops and restaurants along the main road in Sanur.

After spending the previous night at a party hotel in Kuta we were ready for a change. This place was perfect. Like other reviews, we were slightly concerned when our taxi pulled up to a building sight, but upon arrival in the lobby, it's soon forgotten.
The room was huge and kitted out with everything you'd expect. Great views in to the well kept gardens from the balcony. The location is fine with just a short walk to the beach but the best thing about this place is the pool area. We were the only ones at the pool all day and enjoyed a few bintangs from the always manned pool bar / restaurant. Time permitting we will be back at this hotel towards the end of our time in Bali.

We had wonderful experience during our short stay in Sanur. The personnel were very accomodating, courteous, reliable and service oriented. Always smiling! The place is a short walking distance from the beach.

We stayed at the Sriphala from the 15/12-22/12. On first impressions we were shocked and thought we had booked awful accomodation as the hotel is currently undergoing renovations but luckily after walking through the current construction area things quickly improved.
We booked the jacuzzi suite which was OK but we ended up moving after 3 nights as a result of constant late night noise from the party house behind this villa. We were then moved to a different room with smaller single beds and no kids T.V and no jacuzzi. The rooms have a mini bar with reasonably priced drinks but no in room safe which I found strange in this day and age. Overall the rooms are OK serviced daily but the general cleanliness of them is a little bit suspect.
The grounds of this resort are very nice with a really nice pool area which we found was never busy and there is always someone in the bar to make you a drink. The staff are really friendly and polite which always makes a stay pleasant. We enjoyed our breakfast by the fish ponds in the morning but after 7 mornings of the same thing you intend to give it a miss but that's not to say there was anything wrong with it.
The resort is close to the beach and restaurants but using the front footpath is almost impossible as there are many large pot holes in the footpath which is very dangerous to the elderly or small children. There is a side access but you have to dodge the motorbikes and mongrel dogs to use this.
My wife and I used the SPA for massages which we found very in expensive and enjoyed.
Shops and money changers are within a 2 minute walk from the side gate and the beach is about 5 minutes away. Transport is always available.

Well presented resort and with very pleasant rooms which is a credit to Sri Phala. We stayed in Deluxe Garden Villa. Our room was downstairs with comfortable kingsize bed, ensuite, LCD TV, airconditioning and front balcony. Second room upstairs had 2 singlebeds, ensuite, LCD TV airconditioning and balcony. Good size resort with everything you need. Rooms were cleaned daily. Close to beach, shops and markets. Very pleasant staff from reception, cleaners, ground staff, restuarant, management and day spa. Quiet friendly atmosphere, not overbearing like some resorts can be. Pool clean and inviting. We felt safe the whole time we were at Sri Phala and in Sanur. Sri Phala is a great place to stay for a relaxing holiday. My son had a birthday whilst there, we organised a birthday cake for him before we left home. He was very surprised when the yummy cake arrived with happy birthday being sung to him as his cake arrived. We didn't expect that! Many thanks to Indra for looking after us each time in the restuarant - he did a great job - my kids are still talking about him. Sri Phala is Highly Recommended by us. Thank you for making our holiday memorable. We have been to Bali on a few occasions and we would love to return here again as we love Sri Phala and Sanur and the Balinese people.

Room Tip: We had Garden Deluxe Villa - Children were upstairs had their own toilet/shower/balcony and TV. The...
