We visited Mila's because of the TA reviews and we weren't disappointed. Honestly, this is a really fine restaurant. Attention to detail is brilliant. The place is on an unpromising street but it has been beautifully designed and the food is fresh, flavoursome and fantastic. Mila is pretty classy herself and has obviously thought through what she wants. In our opinion she got it right.
We had the steamed fish, sate, pepper beef and broccoli with cashew. Not one dud. In fact, if this restaurant was in our home city of Adelaide (a pretty 'foody' place) it'd be a massive hit. To top it all off it was also incredibly reasonably priced.
Mila also has a water pistol on hand to squirt any street cats that feel like visiting in hope of some dropped food. Our son loves cats but also loves water pistols so it was a dilemma of concience for hiim. Don't be put off by the 'stret cats' idea - this is Bali and animals roam.
In short: Classy, delicious, aesthetically well done - and cheap. You want more?
