“Sometimes you just need a western food fix”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

I love Bali and I love the food, but when holidaying with two teens, sometimes you just need to get a fix of western food.
The menu is an eclectic mix of burgers, mexican and asian food. The Flapjacks (dessert) menu is pancake heaven.
We chose a mix of hamburgers and mexican food. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. The burgers were well cooked and the "chimmychungers" (fried burritos) were huge and delicious.
My teens were well satisfied after their meal. I induldged in the chocolate decedence pancake - yum. They did a decent job with the coffee too.
The bar/cafe is done is a western sports bar style with lots of big screen tvs and a pool table. It is clean and tidy. The service was a bit on the erratic side, but acceptable.

Most definitely not the place for Bali food purists, but if you need a western fix, it's a pretty good option at a reasonable price.

“Great for a western fix of Spaghetti Bolognase”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

While I would typically avoid anything like this place while in a location like Bali, they do do a incredibly delicious spaghetti Bolognase. Kids are always pretty relieved to get some "home-like" foods too after a while of eating exotic dishes.

“Totally inappropriate style for Bali”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

The food, drinks and prices are the same as sports bars the world over. Usually people there drink enough beer that the food tastes OK and you don't pay much attention to the prices. That's the positive side of the review. The big problem here is that it is totally inappropriate for Bali, it's just another ugly, commercial, tasteless structure that is lowering the tone of the Island of the Gods. Tacky plastic flapjacks outside, encouraging children into a sports bar where people get drunk and watch the sport? Also in line with the decline of Bali and now Sanur.
