Stayed at this hotel on our cycling trip around bali for 1 night, really enjoyed our night there great serice rooms were nice and clean, the service was great everyone was helful.
Enjoyed the massage outside looking over the ocean after riding 210kms.
Pool was good with a well earned bintang or 2.
Gardens were well looked after would stay again if in lovina again.

This Resort must have seen better days! However, the generous- and well maintained garden, beach location and large swimming pool matches away an average service- and poor breakfast buffet (after 5 days the staff still wasn't able to "manage" a 3Min egg). Rooms in Duo-Villas are spacious and come with a tiled terrace giving way to either the (black sandy) beach or towards the 24/7 noisy National Road. Amenities and set-up of rooms are from the 80's, though don't expect any super flu: each set of Villas has 1 Canopy (Thatched roof) next to beach and separated by a concrete wall with beach access metal gates. A part some sticky souvenir sellers or Dolphin/Snorkeling Tour Hustlers there's really nothing else happening. It's a 20Min walk to Lovina's good Restaurants (Papagallo), Life-Music bars and ATM's along the quite dangerous Ntl Road (with sidewalks). Aditya is a typical Tour Hotel for Island Hoppers: suddenly 60 pax arrive at the same time and have gone early next morning, while the Resort falls back into its quiet Beauty Sleep, interrupted by the Mullah call for the prayer at the near-by Mosque. Overall: don't expect too much and enjoy the green garden lung or the generous pool!

First of all: they have wifi. Not in all rooms (the signal of wifi was to weak to reach ours) rather in the lobby and in the restaurant. We spent one night here only but we had two special guests (cockroaches) in the bathroom, and and the fridge was too noisy. Alltogether it was perfect for one night. We didn't try the food in the restaurant. The hotel located 20min walking to the street which leads to the beach and there are bars and good restaurants (Kakatua).
You can go to see dolphins in the bay from the beach of the hotel every morning 6am.

Spent another lively night at this hotel. Took friends that had not been to Lovina before. They lioved it. The gardens and pool area are beautifully maintained as always. The bathrooms could do with a spruce up but otherwise our room facing the ocean was lovely. Breakfast was great.

Room Tip: Get one facing the beach.

My sister and I lived in one of the Bungalows down to the beach, so we had a great view over the ocean. It was especially nice to lie on the small terraces down to the beach and maybe enjoy the lunch or dinner, if you bring it yourself.
The breakfast is okay and the staff are really friendly. You can buy tours in the reception but I would recommend to buy them from another place in the town - it's a lot cheaper (around half the price at some tours) and most of the time you will also get more information about the places that way.
The security is good though and it's in walking distance for the rest of the city, which is quite small but also a nice place for both families and friends.

Some other things you need to take into consideration is:
- The bad wifi-connection
- The aggressive salesmen who is on the beach all day (you can't go out the door without being met of a request to buy something), they can be annoying over time
- The massage we got a the hotel wasn't the best - go to the town
- There is a mosque close to the hotel and each day they will wake you up at five, for a pray that will last for about ten minutes.

Do not stay in Aditya Beach Resort, on Lovina Beach! The bungalows are terribly ugly, the bathroom is tiny and decaying, and the price is around $100US!?

I was expecting a place at least of the quality of another Aditya hotel further west that I have stayed in, which was good/good enough if you are in the area. Naming hotels the same but their being in different locations is a trick you have to watch in Bali. Not deliberate but can lead to lots of mistakes.

The standard of hotels in Bali is incredibly high and this Aditya on Lovina Beach should not still be in business! For example of the quality you can get for around $100-150 USD in Bali, check out Nefatari Exclusive Villas in Ubud www.nefarti-bali.com

To make matters worse, the hotel would not refund my money! They charged me before I saw the room, and I paid - my mistake. We left immediately and took an up market but soul less place a km east from Aditya, which was expensive, even with the special deal they gave at $200, the most expensive of our trip and besides Aditya the worst. So, I would avoid the Lovina Beach area I think, not much choice in hotels, not much to do, compared to the rest of Bali. This was a low point.

On the plus side the staff are fantastic. The outdoor area and pool are good. But the rooms are dated, especially the bathrooms. Showers from the 50's. Hawkers patrol the boundary but security is good. Road noise, 5am public religious(islamic?) broadcast nearby and unreliable internet added to the the poor rating. Not worth the price to us.
