“Happy we came back here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2012

After we stayed here 5 years ago we came back recently. Happy to find out Aditya it is still good quality for money. The location is convenient with Lovina in walking distance. We even walked to Dencarik, west of Lovina. The hotel's restaurant is quite good, is not Indonesian haute cuisine sie, but well prepared, tasty and fresh. A few hundred meters west, by the way, there is the new Ikan Bakar restaurant with the best fresh ikan bakar we had in Bali!
Staff of Aditya is friendly and efficient, rooms are clean comfy. The beach is not as clean as ons wishes, but there is a cosy pool with poolside bar and one can rent easily a prahuthrough local fishermen hangimg around for some snorkeling. When you promise the souvenir sellers who hang around the beach that you buy some souvernirs on your last day here, they leave you alone for the time being... Of course we bought some sarungs on our last day here in return.

Definitely one of the better places to stay in Lovina. We had a dreadful experience in another "resort" here and we were glad to arrive here.

It is outside town and off the very busy road but noise is not an issue. You have a good 10-15 min. walk to the one street that had any kind of bars/cafes/restaurants. This led to the square by the beach.

Reception was friendly and very helpful. We were offered a good special rate and took it for 2 nights.

I was surprised with the grounds. They are lovely, tropical (surprise!) and really well kept. Clean paths, neat lawns, tidy shrubs. Full marks to the gardeners! The pool is large enough for a decent splash and enough hard area for loungers. There is a neat wet pool bar.

The resort s right on the "beach". I can't realy call it a proper beach as it is just a narrow strip of grey sand. Out room/bungalow was clean, bright and roomy. The bathroom was a let down with a hand held shower that wet the floor and a WC that was broken.

The restaurant served good food and we had a couple of drinks there as well. Breakfast was average. No fruit salad, yogurt, no nice cerals, greasy bacon, weak tea, not great breads. This should be looked at as it is important, especially to western guests.

We enjoyed this resort and would stay here again but Lovina was not for us. It just did not have a decent beach or any kind of night life.

Room Tip: Beware! The public footpaths outside are in tatters. Plenty of very dangerous holes and manholes mis...

The spot is restful and relaxing. The staff are all attentive. We drove here with a driver from Bali Gede Suyusa who is on trip advisor. He made the journey safe enjoyable and has abundant local knowledge. Gede lived in Singaraja and knows it from his childhood. Aditya resort is walking distance to Lovina but has everything needed. The meals are both Western style and Indonesian. The staff all served with attention to detail, and we're eager to go back! There are several warung and shops nearby but all needs are on hand. Internet access is good and breakfast was included in our tariff. The breakfast was excellent.

Room Tip: Pay for the Deluxe Villa on the Ocean front

The suites are worth the upgrade. Great views from the porch to the ocean. There are also double lounging beds that look out to the water. Rooms are very comfortable although the shower is just a handheld. Staff friendly and helpful. Pool is nice with a swim up bar.
grounds are beautiful with artfully arranged flowers everywhere. The restaurant, except for the breakfast buffet which was very good, was the only disappointment but there are many places to eat in town which is an easy walk. There are many people trying to sell you things along the beach which does get old. Ask for a discount if staying multiple nights

Great hourlong massage for $8.00 US from Widhi. She will come to the lounging beds. Find her just down the beach.

Room Tip: The suite is worth the upgrade

Great for rest and relaxation by the pool and the grounds are beautiful and well manicured. Rooms are quite nice too. Not much of a beach so the beach vendors stay away. Sunsets are better further east or west of the resort.

The room was clean and spacious with outdoor sitting.

The resort restaurant is not worth eating at all - most of the dishes are fried and tasteless, serious disappointment.

At one end of Lovina beach, this hotel is a mixture of chalets and apartments in a two-floor block. The room was clean and spacious plus we had a balcony overlooking the beautifully maintained gardens with views of the sea.

Apart from the gardens, the other point of note is the reception lobby which is quite spectacular.

On the down side, the beach and sea at this point of Raya Lovina is not very clean (although this is in no way the fault of the hotel).
