“Do not honest!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2012

The price could be changed, although we reached an agreement when we checked in in the night.
If you wants to live here, you need to pay more attention.

“Too busy to care”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2011

The food was average, the setting quite nice but service was almost non-existent. As a couple or with friends, one might enjoy a long cool drink and a chat while waiting for the food to arrive, but with children and family an hour and a half is just not on. The kitchen is just too small for the large number of tables.

“My worst meal in Bali”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2010

Three of us went to this fairly large restaurant for dinner. It had a big busy kitchen and lots of young waitresses running round in sneakers. Oddly this did not equate to good food or service. My husband had calamari that was passable. My friend had seafood kebabs that were so salty as to be unpleasant. I had Gado Gado which consisted of half a plate of prawn crackers and some scraps of cabbage and carrot under a watery peanut sauce. Is it possible to make Gado Gado without potato, tofu, tempeh, egg, beans or rice? Apparently. The bottled beer was okay. I tried a mixed drink; the long glass was so stuffed with slices of orange that there was only half a cup of liquid to drink. Being optimists we decided to try to salvage the meal by finishing with black rice pudding. We were presented with bowls of sweet liquid gruel with a few grains of black rice cowering at the bottom. There were two tiny children who danced. They were not just cute, they were very good dancers. A beautiful young woman followed and she was also a wonderful dancer, and then there was a Barong.
My advice is to have dinner at Barcelona Bar & Restaurant and then to Astina for a beer to watch the dancers.
