I discovered this spa on the Internet, printed out the discount voucher for a 3 hour package and booked an appointment for the treatment on our last day at Bali. Our first time at a spa and our first massage, my husband and I were not disappointed. I only wish we had gone earlier, as we would most certainly have repeated our visit. I have to agree 100% with other reviews - the experience was memorable. Our pick-up was bang on time and the German gentleman driver (co-owner of the spa) was extremely pleasant and courteous. At the spa we were met by Mrs Putu Indri, the lady owner - also very pleasant and courteous - given a drink of tasty ginger and honey tea and shown to the treatment room. The therapists who did the Balinese Massage, Lulur Body Scrub, Blossom Filled Bath, Facial and Hair Cream Bath were professional experts. We ended the treatment with another drink of ginger honey tea and a piece of cake and were driven back to our hotel by the same gentleman who picked us up. The 3 hours cost us US$50 each which was well worth the money. The spa set up is traditional Balinese, relaxing and professional. The ingredients are top notch Indonesian and the staff courteous and skilful. We felt absolutely wonderful at the end of our treatment and cannot recommend highly enough. If you want a professional, courteous service and to be treated like someone special, book a treatment at the Spa Sekar Jagat.

After doing some research on the Internet we opted for this small spa since it got excellent reviews and a clear website. We booked a honeymoon package and had a really wonderful time.

What we liked in particular is that the treatment rooms are Balinese-styled and in open air but private, we felt totally secure and relaxed. The massage girls are lovely, locals and obviously highly motivated, they did an excellent job! The two owners, a Balinese and a German, oversee the operation, they handle every day only a couple of guests, and so we got all possible attention and energy.

We can recommend to everybody looking for a cozy venue with great treatments.

I have tried a cheap and simple US$8 massage in a shop at Legian street, it lacked of comfort and competence. That's no big surprise. Then I had a pricey and stylish US$60 massage at Intercontinental. Just gorgeous. But that's no surprise too.
Wondered where to find a mid-priced spa service and discovered that amazing Spa Sekar Jagat. I enjoyed a US$20 massage (Internet rate) at their pleasant premises. They show a professional approach (attentive reception, well developed menu, courteous staff) and they perform Balinese massage and other spa treatments at a remarkably high level. Excellent value for money at an authentic Balinese place. Certainly a great pick and far above average.
