We spent our last 3 night in Bali at The Balé. What a way to end our holiday!
On arrival, the architecture of the building is a real eyecatcher. It's very modern and open.
When our butler took us to our room, we had a pleasant surprise as we were upgraded to a single deluxe pavilion(room 30).
A large swimmingpool, daybed, huge bedroom with tv/dvd, big bathroom with bathtub and tv, indoor and outdoor shower, that's real deluxe!
Our first evening, we dined in the hotel's restaurant called Faces. Very fine cuisine, and they also serve excellent mocktails!
For breakfast/lunch and dining, you have the choice of eating in your pavilion or in Faces.
Breakfast is not in buffet, but there's a big choice in ordering.
The minibar in the pavilion has complimentary softdrinks (2x Sprite, 2x Coke, 2x Coke light, 2x soda) and the rest has to be paid for. This is a real BIG plus!
The staff is very attentive and we felt like family to them. After 3 days, it felt like we knew them for months.
If you want to go to the beach, there's a shuttle service by the hotel which brings you in about 2 minutes to the Geger Beach Club, runned by The Balé.
There's also a shuttle service into Nusa Dua and Jimbaran, just ask at the desk in the lobby.
We also had a 15min. welcome massage. You can choose between a footmassage or a shouldermassage. It felt great!
Overall, a great experience in a stunning setting. Compliments to Jose Luis Calle and his team!
