June 05 stayed in this AMAZING hotel!

We were in a delux seaview room - which was simply phenomenal. Huge bed, a little Balinese Monkey on the pillow to say hello and for you to take home! The bathroom separate HUGE deep bath and walk in shower.

The hotel was dark wood full of local art and water everywhere.

The spa was amazing and as guests we were given discount on the already competitively priced treatments!

There was a huge main pool which seemed to engulf the grounds of the hotel and also a spa pool which was always so quite and really a top secret place to chill from the other guests! It was also an infinity pool!

The main restaurant was simply devine - overlooking the sea and pool areas - and it had a lovely breeze wafting in to cool us down! The prices were expensive though!

The hotel resort is on the beach so you can lie and chill out by the sea.

We also had use of the executive lounge which will cater to all drinks and food desires - the afternoon cocktails and cakes were devine!

I havent mentioned the staff - like all Balinese people - attentive, unassuming beautiful helpful folk!

If you have the choice you really cant go wrong with this hotel!

We travelled a lot already, my wife and I. I sure can tell you this is far the best hotel we ever had. Not only the hotel is very beautiful, it is extremely clean, it has a wonderful service, rooms are beautiful, what can I say more. I'm not going to write the story of my life here, I can only recommend this hotel. The 3 restaurants are defintely to be recommended. They serve quality!

We have looked at other hotels in the neighbourhood, for sure I can tell you, no other hotel could be compared with the Conrad.

The beach was nice as well, true to say that because of seaweed and low water at regular times, I have to make a negative recommendation.This is the only negative point in my whole story. But the pool compensates for that.
I forgot one other thing, the Duvel (Belgian beer) served is not representable for the real Duvel. Try it in Belgium, please.

Don't hesitate to book this hotel.

We were in this hotel for 15 days, not enough unfortunately.

The Conrad Bali is probably the nicest resort that I have ever stayed at. It is approximately 2 years old and the rooms are very modern and boutique-like. We had a king bed, oceanview room that gave us a great view of the pool and beach. The room was very large and flawlessly decorated. The bathroom was luxurious, with a large soaker tub, shower with dual shower heads and toilet with bidet features. We also had a large balcony that had a table, chair and lounger. The service was fantastic. They provide 6 bottles of water for you replenished each day. To avoid "Bali Belly", we used this to brush our teeth and to boil for our morning coffee. They also provide you with complimentary bottled water at the pool and beach areas. When we checked into the hotel, they mentioned that the resort was close to it's capacity. Despite this, the hotel never seemed crowded. We didn't have any problems finding lounge chairs on the beach or near the pool. In the afternoons, we were able to grab one of the beach bales to escape the hot sun and relax in decadent comfort.

The best deal is the Club lounge upgrade. For $30 USD/room/night, you can be granted access to the Club lounge. Included is a fantastic breakfast (pancakes, omelets, eggs benedict) plus a continental breakfast buffet, all day beverages (sodas, juices, coffee, tea), afternoon tea (delicious scones and snacks), evening cocktail hour with open bar and canapes. With all of that food, we actually found that we were never hungry enough to go to any of the restaurants for dinner. There were a couple of times that we ordered lunch on the beach, but other than that we made do with a late breakfast and all day snacking and never felt hungry. The Club lounge also gives you a 15% discount at all of the restaurants and bars and free internet access. What a fantastic deal! We loved the Conrad Bali and would not hesitate to return or to recommend it to others.

Do you enjoy listening to jet skis all day? Do you like it when you order two martinis and recive two tumblers of some cold, unidentifiable liquid? Do you like the hotel beach to be packed with "team building" exercises while you try to relax and read? Do you like small, overpriced rooms? How about a full-length window in the bathroom? If so, the Conrad is for you!

Otherwise - try ANY other hotel in Bali and you will get more for your money. We had reservations for five nights and left after one. There are simply too many better hotels (even in Nusa Dua) to recommend this place.
