We had a magnificent time at the Westin Resort Nusa Dua. It was truly memorable. From the moment we entered the lobby we were in heaven! The rooms are spacious and very clean. The service is outstanding, all staff professional and very friendly. The beach at the resort was very nice as were the selection of pools. We ate in all the restaurants and highly recommend them all. As we had a toddler, we used room service a bit, which was very very good.
This is a great place to travel with kids. The gardens and grounds at the resort are well maintained and beautiful to walk through. We will definitely be back! thank you to all the staff at the Westin Bali Nusa Dua.

One of the best hotels I have been to- great ambience, lovely decor, good service & lovely rooms.
This hotel also has a great location. Located in Nusa Dua - an upmarket, gated area of Bali. The hotel has lovely gardens. I had a room with a spacious balcony -overlooking a garden.

The whole of Nusa Dua area is beautifully landscaped. There are a number of 5 star hotels in this area. its a great area to walk in. Beautiful tropical trees & flowers. Very well kept !

The hotel is right next to the beach. so took some lovely walks in the evening. There is a very nice shopping complex in Nusa Dua. Nice upmarket restaurants, boutiques, jewellery shops.

The hotel Spa is one of the best I have been to anywhere in the world.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking garden/ green area.

Fantastic hotel with great service. We were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday. On entering our room, we were surprised and delighted to find balloons and a "Happy Birthday" sign across the bed. Not only this, but cake with "Happy Birthday" and flowers. A wonderful surprise that my husband was thrilled to get! The rooms are great and have everything you could possibly want. Wonderfully soft king size beds, his and hers walk-in robes, loads of space in the massive bathroom.
Beautiful gardens. Spacious foyer. Large pool. Right on the beach. Service was always excellent. All restaurants delivered a wide selection of food. We found the breakfast buffet very crowded, noisy and chaotic. We then had breakfast in our room which was so much more relaxing and still great. Had the tapas menu beside the beach a couple of times and it very filling with a good choice. We splurged on our last night and had the "Dream Dinner" on the beach. It exceeded our expectations!! It was so amazing and a great way to finish our holiday. The five course degustation menu was huge and not really small serves. After devouring so much delicious food we thought we would need to be carried back to our room. The staff then appeared singing "Happy Birthday" with cake and candles. It was just so wonderful that The Westin did this for my husband.
Do make sure that your try their "Spa and Wellness Centre". We had the 90 minute signature massage and felt so relaxed afterwards. Total pampering. Inside the centre you can really forget where you are. I thought that I had stepped into a futuristic "James Bond" movie set. The decor was stunning. No wonder that it had recently won the award for the world's best luxury spa.
Having the shuttle which takes people fairly regularly to "Bali Collection" shops and restaurants is also a bonus. If you miss the bus a cab is only $4 anyway. A huge variety of restaurants and you can shop till you drop.
My only complaint is that every time you tried to eat food outdoors, a swarm of squirrels were trying to jump on you. These squirrels were extremely persistent. People were throwing food at them to try and get them away from them. Having lunch beside the pool one day I had to stand and constantly keep moving around the pool to keep the squirrels off me. When I complained many times to staff that I could not enjoy my food because of the squirrels trying to jump on me, they laughed and said they were just being friendly. They weren't trying to eat though! These squirrels are brazen and can potentially have rabies. There are hundreds of them in the resort. Funny thing is though when you go to the "Bali Collection" area with all the restaurants, there is not one single squirrel.
Overall we had an amazing time at The Westin but they need to get rid of the squirrels as dining outside was not pleasant.

We weren't initially planning to go to Nusa Dua, but after being disappointed with Kuta and Tuban beach, we decided we had to go to a resort with a private beach. So last minute we cut our stay short in Tuban and booked a room at the Westin for 3 nights.

We were so happy with our decision to stay at the Westin! The beach is immaculate. They clean the beach every night and rake the sand. If you are one of the first people on the beach to watch the sunset, you will notice the patterns in the sand that they make when the rake the sand.

The wifi was free. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is delicious. The buffet is 350K per person, but if you are a SPG member, it's 250K. The pools are also immaculate.

The spa is outrageous! The decor in the spa is so unique and beautiful and the experience is unlike any other spa I've been to. So happy that we got a chance to get a massage at this spa. The spa definitely lives up to its "heavenly" name.

Our only regret was that we didn't explore Nusa Dua as much as we would've liked. I think we were so content being on the resort property, that we didn't want to leave.

I stayed with my husband for a couple of days. When we arrived we have to change room couple of times due to cockroach and stuff, which freaked my husband out. But the service was fast, the management handle it swiftly and attend to the matter. And our final room was spotless and totally comfy.

The room is well equipped. everything you need from big closet space, iron, the whole nine yards. They also offer health conscious and regular food menu, available in room dining or at the restaurant.

Speaking about the food, the breakfast was one of the best I've ever seen in my life. They offer plenty of variety, again, for health conscious or regular. They even provide special section for kids. Amazing.

The hotel has private beach, but make sure you check with the pool guy before you jump in to one of the cabana, because some of them are not free of charge.

If you have time, you can rent a bike and take a stroll along the beach walk, you will pass hotel after hotel, but the scenery of the beach is breathtaking. You will end up in one of the peninsula with huge statue on top of it. Just absolutely gorgeous.

And since it's located inside the Nusa Dua compound, you can either walk, use the shuttle bus or ride the bike to go to the Nusa Dua Gallery, a small shopping and dining complex. You can basically get almost everything there. Food, small convenience stores, pharmacy, department stores and local souvenirs shops. Plenty of choice, but price wise would be more expensive than outside.

Room Tip: Any type of room would be comfortable. The beddings are plush and luxurious.

We travelled as a family (two adults and two small children) to the Westin in January. I was a little apprehensive before the trip as we had never stayed at a Westin or been to Bali before. My fears turned out to be totally unfounded.

The Westin Nusa Dua was without a doubt the best family holiday we have been on. Upon arrival the hotel staff immediately made us all feel incredibly welcome and provided us with excellent service throughout our stay. There are too many staff for me to thank individually, but one staff member in particular, Indy, went above and beyond to make sure that our stay went smoothly. She ensured that all our families request were met promptly and exactly to our liking. The greeters and waiting staff at Pregos and Ikan were also absolutely lovely. They remembered our names (and those of our children) and even knew what our kids liked to eat by the end of the trip.

The Heavenly Spa was also a fantastic experience for my wife and I. We went three times during our stay and loved every minute of it. I would thoroughly recommend it as a great way to start your holiday.

My children loved the Kids Club and they loved the fact that they had a choice of multiple children's pools (all with shade) during the course of our stay.

The only slightly disappointing aspect of the trip was that we were charged a different US$ exchange rate on our bill, to what the hotel was willing to exchange US$ cash for. Given that this was the very last interaction we had with the hotel before leaving it was slightly disappointing to finish our holiday on this note. This however is not a reflection on the staff, just the policy of the Westin hotel.

In summary, I would be happy to recommend the Westin Nusa Dua to any family travelling to Bali. We all had a fantastic trip and will definitely be going back!

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience in regard to the exchange rate policy. Stayed here with my husband for 3 days. This is a great hotel that offers everything you need. Our room had a pool view and was close to the sea. It had everything we needed, we also ordered breakfast in the room for extra $5 and we got sick and the doctor paid us a visit, made a checkup and have us medications ( all for a charge of course)
In general, we enjoyed our stay and we'd come back again.
