We stayed in Westin for 6 nights and had a blast. The staff were polite and attentive. Checking-in was swift and quick. The food at the restaurants were delicious - we went to Veranda, Prego and Capsicum (for Breakfast). Ikan was just okay. Breakfast was expensive (Rupiah 250,000 per person for spg members - 300 for non-spg). Order room service for breakfast instead......dun worry, the food are delicious! Me and my wife ordered room service multiple times and it costs us about Rupiah 350,000 for 2 persons each time. Plus, the room was comfortable - and great entertainment TV channels. one tip - your dont need to purchase a plug adapter at this hotel as all their wall sockets are for international use. Internet in the room is free - even though the website stated there is a surcharge. But the bad thing was that the pillows were too soft, like real flat!
A total of 3 shuttle Vans comes to Westin every hour that goes to 1) Bali Collection 2) DFS Galleria and 3) Beachwalk mall at Kuta. One time, the shuttle to pick us up to Galleria were late by 15 minutes and the Hotel gave us a FREE taxi service. Pristine beach with golden sands! But one thing I dont like is how deep the pool was. Im a small guy (5ft 3) but even the shallow end is already 5ft 4in. There are many amenities on the hotel, complete with tennis courts, gym and pool tables. Heavenly Spa was incredible - but expensive.....be sure to arrive at least 45 minutes before your reservation to enjoy complimentary use of the Hydro pool and saunas.
Few minor complaints were that our bathroom and beverage amenities were not replaced consistently. But I did asked for more coffee sachets one time and they gave us 10 sachets!!! another thing was the lack of a convinient store available......I got sick on the last day and if only i could find lozenges for my throat. The toilet is modern and nice but wished there were at least a partition/door to separate the toilet and the shower. Did not find this a huge problem but sometimes, I could here people walking outside the room. The balcony is also very small.
Overall, a nice relaxing hotel. Would definitely come here again in the future. Would have given a 5/5 but with a few minor complaints above, i would not say its a perfect hotel.
