“Spectacular beach views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

This has the best ambience of the strip of posh resorts lining the beautiful long beach. Prices are high throughout Nusa Dua, and the Westin offers better value for money than most of its competitors.

The Balinese buffet in the beachside garden has a traditional "kecak" dance and good food, including Babi Guling or roast pig, bebek goreng or crisp fried duck, lovely seafood salads, sate or grilled meat on a stick (always a treat!), and ice cream.

The staff are honestly the best I've met in Nusa Dua. Sudi, a young man serving at the buffet, isn't a permanent member of staff yet, but I certainly hope his talent and warmth will be recognised.

If you'd like to get out of the Nusa Dua tourist trap (designed, it is said, by Tommy Suharto), head for Pak Dobiel's humble Babi Guling shop in Jalan Srikandi or Natrabu Nasi Padang restaurant near the eastern main entrance to the Nusa Dua complex. You can flag down a blue Bali taxi to take you to either place for a minimum fee of Rp25,000 (US$2). Or go to Madé Bagus at Muaya Beach, Jimbaran for seafood at sunset, for Rp25,000-30,000.

Superb service - all staff are friendly, well-trained and service oriented. Breakfast at the Verandah is pretty good - great spread. Kids club and Kids Pass (flat fee of USD15/day) are great for family with kids. Had the one-bedroom suite - perfect for us. Food at Hanabe was also great. We had 3 days / 2 nights - not enough time to eat at all the 7 restaurants! The gym is pretty new and great.

From the moment that we were greeted at arrival until the farewell our stay at the Westin in Nusa Dua was excellent !
This beach resort is managed very well. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and going out of their way to make you feel spoiled. We specially want to mentioned the breakfast staff, the staff of restaurant Ikan and Indy the Westin Experiance specialist who was not only very friendly, but also very helpful. Also a special thanks to the director of rooms Mr. Ramley who made sure we got a nice beachfront suite.
The breakfast is a typical Westin breakfast, very extensive with a lot of tropical fruit and everything you can think off. There are beautiful evening buffets but we choose restaurant Ikan nearly every night as we are not large eaters. They serve very good Indonesian as well as European food and fresh fish.
The beach is cleaned every morning and is very nice to spend the day on. The gardens are all beautifully manicured. The overall experience was excellent and we can highly recommend this beach resort. We have been to many and this is one of the best

My Husband and I stayed here for about two weeks because we love this place so much. We are SPG (Starwood Prefered Guest) members and we definitely received great benefits from it during our stay here. Outstanding customer service, friendly staff, and cleanliness. We truly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to our next visit next year. Thank you Westin!

Room Tip: The family suite is large and comfortable, perfect for a family with children.

A Westin is always a Westin no matter where you are in the world. You can always expect the same service and the same kind of quality.

Nusa Dua Westin is located in a very large compound. Beatiful beach, perfectly kept rooms. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff.

When in doubt, just stay at the Westin. You can't really go wrong with them.

Just spent 3 nights for a conference - large conference facilities but would suggest the hotel extend wifi coverage to inside the conference rooms / hall.

The resort is among a few others along beach but that particular stretch is quite nice. The sand is cleaned every morning and by 9 am is ready for use. The water is shallow and quite calm due to a shelf further out. Not much marine life but some seaweed which is OK - does not impede on swimming or enjoyment. There are enough loungers by the beach. I note others have complained about people grabbing loungers by the pool early but I didn't seem to notice that during this time of year. Perhaps during peak season or school holidays things are different. The main pool design is not great as mentioned by others. The entire pool is quite deep ie. everyone is clinging to the pool edge. There is a smaller section closer to the swim up bar which you can stand comfortably but that's mainly for kids. One water slide for the kids which exits right in front of the swim-up bar.

Got a room in the premium wing - view of the carpark. Room itself is quite nice and comfortable. Supposed to be newly renovated but rust on the bathtub already. Aircon was super-cold, adjustable but sometimes need to turn off. There's a more private pool for premium wing and also the 'living room' - this is a lounge for people who are waiting for a late flight. There are showers which is quite helpful.

Food is generally good - had dinner at Prego which does Italian well. Prices are quite reasonable - similar price to restaurants in Australia. The other two dinners were at the hotel as well but we had special banquets for our group which were very good. Drinks and cocktails are typical resort prices but not unreasonable eg. $6 for juices and $15 for spirits. Breakfast is just above average, slightly disappointing as Westin usually over delivers in this department in other countries / locations.

There are about 10 shops within the hotel - mostly clothing and a bank. Bali collection shopping centre is about 10-15 mins walk.

Finally, the most important thing is that the service was good too - from reception, to wait staff and general staff. I would consider coming back for vacation.

Room Tip: Give the premium rooms a try.

This hotel located in BTDC nusa dua complex. Westin has many facility, the gym was superb, has many equipment that was came from famous brand, has a cool towel and anything in the gym was fabulous. Been in the pool was big and i love the depth of adult swimming pool that really works for swimming. The beach was beautiful,so calm, waves was small and far from shore so we can enjoy swim in the sea safely, unfortunately many souvenirs and water sports seller around hotel's beach area, try and sometimes kinda force guest to buy what they sell, its really annoying and make guest's privacy disturbed. Parking location far from hotel lobby, and i'm kinda dissapointed with hotel security in the front gate, just because i'm using a motorcycle they have never open the gate directly (this would not happen if you're a guest with car, they may just ask where are you going to but never asked what number of you room)eventhough i'm hotel guest, even they had asked what my number room that make me feel so humiliated like i'm not a guest and trying to enter their area. On the other hand, staff in the hotel was very nice,i asked for early check in and late check out they did make it,and before my arrival i informed that im going to celebrate anniversarry and they gave me a cake upon check in. The bed was amazing and they called it heavenly bed was litterally heaven. Many squirells in the garden you can play and feed them. Overall this hotel was amazing and deserve to be a top 5 star hotel in bali.
