Activities galore and attentive staff with the most beautiful surroundings make this resort a winner. The Spa gives excellent massages and has such incredible decor that I was photographing before my treatment! The Balinese Dance dinner was really good as well.

I have stayed at The Ayodya Resort in Bali many times over the last 15 years. The place is very large, very comfortable, very Balinese. We have always been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy each time. For the money, this is a GREAT value.

I have to bring extra attention and acknowledge the KIDS CLUB at The Ayodya. Thru the years we have brought our young children and they look forward to playing at the Kids Club. One of their favorite experiences is playing dress up with Desak at the Kids Club. She has been there for many years (our first trip was 1999 and she was there) and is the BEST with kids. She has 3 children of her own so she's a mother first. I trust her implicitly with my children. She ALWAYS remembers us and the kids look forward to seeing her. She has a heart of gold, is honest, sincere and kind.

We can't wait to get back to Bali and the people and Ayodya Resort. A place like this in the US would be $300-$500 a night. We live in Waikiki, Hawaii and understand resort and ocean front hotels. This one is a bargain.

Room Tip: Negotiate a deal that includes breakfast. Their buffet will keep you full ALL DAY. Ocean view is m...

Just came back from an amazing trip to Bali and Thanks to Ayodya for a memorable stay. We stayed here for 3 nights and booked Ocean view rooms in Ayodya Palace.

The resort in itself is huge and beautiful. They have 2 types of room.. Ayodya Resort and Ayodya Palace. Palace rooms are like a small resort within the property with separate Lobby, Pool. Palace rooms are near to beach while other are bit distant - 2 mins:) ... Very nice and clean beach...

Food in the restaurants is good and reasonably priced.

We also booked for a romantic dinner on the beach and that was just awesome. Special thanks to our attendant (sorry forgot the name) who made sure we enjoy the dinner. In between it started raining so he ran and arranged a beach umbrella.. that was so nice of him... he saved our Beach dinner from rain...

Special mention to all the staff.... they are just awesome.. always smiling and willing to help you to the extent feasible...

Overall great stay and a really good resort...

The Ayodya Hotel, Nusa Dua, is a lovely, luxurious hotel where one can slip into a world of sheer relaxation. It has stunning lagoons and water fountains, a large inviting swimming pool, plus an infinity pool on the edge of the beach. Rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable inviting beds, and generous balconies. There are six reasonably priced restaurants and a beach bar - all offering a variety of food. The hotel is close to the Bali Collection shopping centre and local shops and restaurants. The hotel staff are welcoming and super efficient. What more can one ask for? This is my eighteenth visit to Nusa Dua, but the first time at this hotel. I will be back there again later this year!

Room Tip: I booked a 'Grand' room with breakfast which was close to all the amenities.

Monstrous grounds , I felt like I was transported back into a different time, quite awesome. Small rooms , rather dated and we had a mission to get to the beach , pool, breakfast due to being put in crap position and also due to the vast size. Breakfast buffet and Saturday buffet lunch was awesome, so much variety and really fresh fruit. Pool and beach area is lovely, there are better possy's down the beach though. Service is slow.. We waited for everything, even a cocktail was 20 min away.. Expensive too, spa prices were ridiculous . Great kids club though, lovely staff.

Room Tip: Ask for one close to the front of the hotel or on the restaurant side, more convenient.

We had a very good experience at this hotel. We look around for normal Western hotels for our trip to Nusa Dua, but decided to try this hotel based on the unique architecture and also the personal reviews.

Overall, very nice experience. Good breakfast spread, and nice restaurant selections. Occasional live musicians for dinner, nice tropical like touch. We tried the Palace option, and have to say; if you can afford it, its well worth the extra bucks. If we go back, we would not hesitate to book the Palace rooms.

This hotel is a part of a collection of hotel in a gated area, including a nice shopping and dinning "mall" area.

We had a small irritation with the event planning service, when we were booking our snorkeling tour. On the day of the tour, other Vendors were not going out because of rough seas, but the ones at the hotel insisted it was ok. I decided not to, after consulting with other sources; not worth risking my 9-year old's safety. We rebooked for another time, but decided to rebook with other Vendors, even though the one at the hotel offered a 50% discount to rebook. Once we knew they were risky, we just couldn't trust them anymore...

Otherwise, our experience was exceptional. The Palace is well worth the update and cost. We would go back for sure and stay there again. Of all the tour/events that we did, we would recommended the white water rafting and dinner on the beach; were most memorable.

Room Tip: Go with Palace rooms, if you can afford it. Go out for a sunrise on the beach, it's very nice w...

Wake up to a lovely room, a trip to the gym, perhaps a game of squash and then the breakfast with the biggest option of foods imaginable. The infinity pool overlooking the beach was amazing and whilst the resort boasts some resort priced restaurants that are worthwhile trying, the resort is close to other special places to try. Its hard not to recommend Ayodya and I hope to return one day.
