We stayed here for week, after a recommendation from our travel agent.
We were not disappointed!!
From arrival, the staff at both the front desk, and the club lounge were fantastic, too many to mention individually.
The club lounge itself has everything we could need, and we only left the lounge to go to the spa!!!
We did have a couple of very minor gripes, during our stay, and these were dealt with immediately and proved to us that the excellent service extended to management, as well as the staff - very impressive!!!
The food was a little disappointing, although very good, we were expecting great things. Although the breakfast in the club lounge was amazing!!!!
Overall, an excellent hotel which we would recommend to friends, the club rooms are the way to go, as the service and attention you receive in the club lounge is really something else!!!
A huge thank you to all at The Grand Nikko, for a lovely holiday!!
Emma and Barry.

I stayed with my family for Nyepi. We stayed here for 3 days. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They greeted us and help us kindly with our luggage and even offered for vallet parking. They also helped me getting my breakfast because they saw me carrying my baby. Pool staffs also very kind. Room was ok and clean. Bathroom was nice, it has a nice rain shower which is my favourite kind of shower. However, please beware of monkeys which might visit your balcony. They might enter your room via balcony if u left the balcony door open and room unattended. Better not leaving any kind of food at the balcony to avoid attracting those monkeys.

I came here with my wife for our honeymoon. We stayed at three different spots over our 7 days in Bali. Grand Nikko was the best 3 days of our trip. We loved the hospitable staff at the Grand Nikko Villas. We love it so much that we have just booked to go back here in September. The free photoshoot and memories of the place were a highlight too!

Cannot wait to be back!

Have stayed at the Grand Nikko Bali twice now once in 2013 and again in 2015 the second time was an easy choice after the exceptional time in 2013. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned daily. The grounds kept immaculate and staff are so friendly and helpful. As well as the Grand Nikko is family orientated also. The many restaurants in house are spectacular with a large array of tastes and cultures.

Room Tip: Amazing sunrises each morning and a beautiful view from the roof on level 15 looking over the hotels...

This is a belated review. My husband and I, together with our 3 year old son stayed at one of the pool villas at Grand Nikko last September to celebrate the little one's birthday.

When we first arrived, it was quite chaotic as we were at the main lobby and we were left waiting for a while as it was really crowded. However, after the chaos, we were whisked away to the lounge for the villas and it was quiet and peaceful, just like how a beach resort should be.

The check-in process was smooth and they specially made a welcome smoothie for the little one. He was delighted as he loves his smoothies. We were brought to our villa and given a very detailed tour of the beautiful villa.

The villa is very spacious with a large king sized bed as well as a comfortable sofa at the side of the room. There is a table with two chairs where we had our afternoon tea every day when we want to escape from the heat.

The large bathroom with the huge tub is a delight to the little one who enjoyed many bubble baths with me. The double shower heads + rainshowers in the bathroom made it easy for both the little one and I to shower at the same time. There is also an outdoor shower!

The outdoor sala is perfect for our breakfasts and we jumped into the pool right after breakfast every day. The pool is a very good size and we did not even go to the hotel pool.

We enjoyed evening cocktails one night and the sangria was amazing.

Service at Grand Nikko was just amazing and everyone was very accommodating and doting to the little one. He loved all the staff and they were so friendly to him.

I'm one who like to explore different resorts/hotels all the time but Grand Nikko might have changed that!

Room Tip: The pool villas are the best!

We have stayed at Nikko previously when travelling as a couple and wanted to bring the children for lunch and a visit to show them the resort. We arrived just before midday (and not that hungry as yet), walked around the resort and showed the children some of the lovely features. We then made our way down to the pool near the slide, our children were eager to try out the slide and cool down in the pool. As soon as we put our bags down on a vacant sun lounge the pool attendant came over and asked us if we were guests of the hotel. I told him that we were not, but that we have come for lunch and to show the children the resort. As soon as he realised that we were not guests of the hotel, he became very rude and aggressive, advising us that we are not allowed to use the facilities until after we have ordered and paid for the lunch, that we must provide a receipt. I said that we are not hungry yet as it was just on 12pm, but that we would be getting lunch within the hour. He was relentless and my children were getting very concerned. A second bar/pool attended joined in and also re-emphasized that we were not welcome until after we provided proof of purchase. I told them both that I am happy to leave my credit card behind the bar as a guarantee that we will purchase lunch, just not yet. They both said that they need a receipt. I also suggested that we could order the food and pay for it now, but we dont want it to be served till about 1pm, I was told that this was not possible....? Really? It was only because the children were already in the pool that we in the end ordered the lunch.... and paid for it (I just wanted to leave). As soon as we ate, we left and wont ever be back! Thanks for showing us your true colours Nikko! What a way to treat paying customers.....

Dear Ania A,
Thank you for visiting again Grand Nikko Bali and taking time to share your unhappy experience with TripAdvisor readers.
I am very sorry about reading what happened to you and would like to present you with my personal apologies as well as the one from our associates.
You and family have been victims of collateral damages of the number of visitors that abuse our property, entering from every angles and pretending to be what they are not.
This is absolutely not an excuse since we have put in place since a number of month a number of measures to encourage people like you to have a great time with us, while avoiding the others!
It means we will need to go through additional training to make sure our associates are better equipped to deal with all our guests.
Once again, I am really sorry about that and would like to encourage you to contact me on info@granndnikkobali.com as I would like to be able to express my apologies directly.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,

Lovely open reception area with stunning views down to the beach. Spacious modern rooms with balcony, large bathrooms with bath and shower and again pretty views over the garden area. Staff are friendly and efficient. Thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant down on the beach, the food was lovely and the staff excellent! The beach is stunning! However, the pool was disappointing, the pool tiles were being replaced during our stay and there were several cages in the pool with 3 to 4 workmen working during the day. The breakfast restaurant was very busy every day and felt more canteen style than 5 star, however, there were a lot of tour groups at the hotel during our stay.
