The rooms are reasonable but basic--and can be quite dark inside. The location is excellent for those that like kuta, although it is a decent walk to the beach.

Food at breakfast is ordinary, but other food is excellent. The Mie Goreng is as good as anywhere--although food at the Adi Dharmi Cottages (Nasi Bali) may be better. We ate at the cottages; can particularly recommend the Nasi Goreng, Mie Goreng, Satay Lilit and chicken satay.

The staff at the Adi Dharma are excellent--very friendly and helpful.

I have gone back twice to the cottages as I can't fault the property. There was reno work been done in Oct-Nov 2012 next door which was noisy but the staff were more than happy to tell them to be quiet if it was interrupting our sleep. Rooms are always clean and serviced daily. Food is awesome and very well priced. I chose the cottages over the hotel as the hotel is very noisy and a lot bigger than the cottages. This property is also on the Main Street of Legian so only a very short walk to the night life, Kuta Square, beach and Waterbomb Park. It's no 5 start place but there isn't much more you would want! Recommend this to anyone going to Bali.

My daughter and I stayed at the Adi Dharma in November 2012, and were well looked after. Initially we had been given a room with a king bed (which wasn't what we had booked), but were changed to a twin without any fuss. Staff made the effort to remember our names, and always greeted us with a smile and some conversation. The pool is excellent, and the Superior rooms are big and comfortable, with all the amenities you need. We will stay here again. Try to avoid going during "schoolies"!

My partner and I stayed at the Adi Dharma Hotel for 8 nights in December and were amazed by the quality for the price! We arrived at the Hotel at 1am and we were able to check-in and still get escorted to our room! The room we stayed in (the Superior Room) was a great size with a fantastic air conditioner. Free bottles of water were provided daily. The pool was clean and the swim up bar was just nice to relax next to and it was as if we were the only people staying there it was that quiet. Only downer was that only Bali Hai was available at the Happy hour prices. The restaurant was cheap and excellent for both breakfast (full buffet provided in the room cost) and Dinner (the other half was so impressed with the Fettucini Carbonara, he got a second serving!). The staff were so lovely and friendly who were always willing to help you out. The spa was decently priced and the staff were well trained in what they do. A 3 and a half hours couple treatment cost approx. $75 AUD for the works!! Walking distance to Poppie's Lane II, the beach and Jalan Legian and just a bit further up from Matahari's and Kuta Square. You feel as if you are nowhere near all the hussle and bussle of Kuta but you are closer than you think! Highly recommended!
